Review 1：The acoustic insulation is pretty bad. We could clearly hear other people talking and walking in the midnight.

Review 7：One of our party was unhappy with the air conditioning, which was turned off in mid-September (not as advertised on booking.com). We simply opened our windows, and were perfectly cool.

Review 8：Easy to reach by car and to park. A 10-15 walk from "downtown" San Quirico. A good center of operations for exploring this region of Tuscany (Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Siena, etc.) The price point is completely reasonable. Not a luxury hotel, but is not priced like one.

Review 9：The breakfast was terrible. Everything came out of a can, everything was loaded with sugar. Probably too much choice and if they stick with a smaller but better breakfast that would be far better. And it's the most unpleasant thing to be eating my breakfast while someone is smoking right near me and the staff wouldn't do anything. There was a fridge in the room and bottle of water. There was no price anywhere. Not in the fridge, the bottle, or the folder in the room. So like in the hotel before we thought it was free and took it on the first day. But my intuition made me ask if they were free and they said they were 1.5€ per 500ml bottle. I was really upset as there was no indication of this.

Review 10：The location wasn't bad. Some staff were helpful. The cleaners were good! There was parking. When we asked to book us a table at a restaurant in Pienza they did and that was very nice.

Review 22：The hotel is located in a great part of tuscany. It offers a great deal of choices for landscape photography, eating out, relaxing, hiking, cycling... The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel has a nice rustic homey feeling to it.

Review 23：Althought it is a big hotel located in Val D' Orcia (we expected something smaller...) nothing went wrong. Clean, comfortable and value for money. Even though breakfast was served from 07:30, they made an exception for us that we had to leave earlier and we were served at 06:30! We really appreciated their willingness.

Review 43：Great location for exploring Val d'Orcia, and for the restaurants of San Quirico. Very pleasant swimming pool, plenty of sun loungers, and areas of privacy away from the pool. Breakfast was good with a wide selection (self-service), and the coffee machine was top quality offering a very tasty range of freshly-ground coffee styles (yes, coffee from a machine like this can be excellent!).

The availability of the lifeguard at the pool is not so good, but be sure that the waiters and all the staff of the restaurant will be there for you . The breakfast is good and the croissants are excellent, as well the cakes (home made). The view is great.

Review 51：The water in the shower and sink squirted out in many directions, assuring wet clothes and/or face. No Internet in the rooms (as confirmed by many quests) even though it was promised. And only in the lobby sometimes. The staff could be a bit friendlier - my impression was that we were an annoyance rather than a welcome guest.

Review 52：Beautiful grounds, fantastic location, lots of stuff to do there - with the most amazing view of the Tuscan hills from the dining terrace. I took a gorgeous picture of the sunset over the pool and grapevine-covered hills We were too late to get a room with a view, but a few are available if you book far enough ahead. We met many fun interesting people from other countries - Germany, England, Irland, Italy - and they were all happy and enjoying the place.

Review 105：Our room had a lovely little balcony with beautiful views over Tuscany. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very friendly. We asked to use their computer to check in and print off our boarding passes for our upcoming flight and the staff didn't quibble in anyway in allowing us to do this free of charge. The breakfast was good with a choice of pastries, meat, cheese, bread, fruit etc. The hotel did have a swimming pool but we didn't have time to use it. It looked lovely though we sun loungers around it.

Staff had a bit of a difficulty understanding English (maybe the accents) but were still able to help and guide us. Good selection for breakfast.

Review 113：Very basic. En suite facilities poor, to use toilet feet are in the shower tray. It is compulsory to wear a swimming cap to wear in the pool which you have to pay for. Dinner was not available during our stay. Expensive for what it is.

Review 121：Air conditioning does not work and the place is specially hot even before the Summer. Too many mosquitos made it impossible to open the windows. Result: at 1AM a very helpfullember of the Staff was calling other hotels in the region because many Customers could not sleep. For my surprise, the next morning the Manager denied that there was any problem to be solved. As all hotels are fully booked this time of the year, he just didn't care.

Review 123：Staff was not up to standards. We had booked two twins but they gave usa double and a twin. Therefore, one of us had to sleep in a folding bedin the double room. The power went off in the middle of the night andthe air cond started making a rattling sound. Again, staff wereunhelpful and left us to our own devices.

The rooms are not the bestfeature of the hotel but common areas are lovely: restaurant/bar alfresco and with lovely views and the swimming pool, of course. Manygourmet trattorias in the village that you should not miss. Very goodbreakfast included in the price.
