The Vigna Hotel has been completely renovated. It has been run by the same family for 3 generations and offers a truly personalized service.

Review 1：The hotel is right on the lake, a stone's throw from the ferry stop, cafes, fine and casual dining, upscale shops and plenty of places to stroll along the lake. Family run by the next generation, Roberta & Filippo Bassetti were wonderful hosts who will help with even the smallest detail. The large breakfast room overlooks the lake and you will want to eat a late lunch after filling up there. Centrally located in Salo, it was so convenient to hop the ferry to explore the lake we never used our car until we checked out to drive to Malpensa airport north of Milan

Review 3：The owners were very friendly, spoke excellent English and couldn't do enough to help. Upgraded us to a room with a lake view as soon as one became available. Excellent location, breakfast and staff. Secure parking was available very close to the hotel (5 mins walk) and excellent value at €8 a day. Recommend a lake view room - worth every penny. Hotel situated close to the town, bars, restaurants and right next to where you can get the boats/ferries to all around the lake. A fantastic find!

Review 4：I think the router for the Wifi on our floor was struggling. However, our friends had no problem two floors above us. Pillows a bit hard. Those are the only negative things we could possible think of - and they aren't very negative!

Review 5：Wow! To begin with, the staff-just everybody-was so wonderful! I had a migraine one morning, and even the housekeeping staff offered help. Our friend had a bunged up knee which required icing - so the staff kept his ice packs in a proper freezer. The Grappa tutorial was especially appreciated. It was great to have so much very kind assistance with all of questions about what to see, where to swim, where to eat. The rooms were very comfortable. Our view over the lake was FANTASTIC. The breakfast totally spoiled us - fabulous meats, cheeses, fruits, cereal, & Proseco for breakfast!!! Great location-right on the lake, but not noisy.

Review 9：Woken occasionally by the church bells but that added to the holiday experience. Sadly the weather wasn't on our side, but still beautiful even in the rain.

Review 12：I recently stayed here the night before and of my wedding. The staff and management at this hotel went above and beyond what was required of them to make sure that my husband and I had only wonderful memories of our day, accommodating any and all requests and personally assisting us with an unfortunate mix-up... at 3 in the morning! I have stayed in a great many hotels all over the world and this is by far the kindest and most thorough service I have ever received. Further, the rooms and beds are comfortable, and the breakfast, in a pleasant room over-looking the lake, was tasty and copious. I couldn't have asked for more. It should be noted that many of my family and friends stayed here, and all were very pleased with their experiences as well.

Review 13：Excellent breakfast with wide choice of ham and cheeses, water melon, melon and other fruit, plus scrambled egg (if you wish) in large bright room overlooking the lake. Even coupes of sparkling? wine for those so enamored.

We were made welcome even before we arrived, by personal email. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we received only the best of attention, friendliness and excellent service. A truly most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Most highly recommended.

Review 36：This was possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The location was brilliant, fabulous view over Lake Garda from our balcony. The room was spotless. Best of all though we're the staff who were all exceptionally helpful, for example the receptionist cane to find us when we first arrived. We were 500m away and weren't sure whether we could drive along the promenade. We were keen to go for a walk in the hills. The hotel owner found some maps, worked out a walk and called a friend to get his advice. They also searched for evening entertainment for us while we were out during the day and booked it. Lots of other things. I appreciate good service and these guys were the best.

Review 40：Wonderful, helpful and reliable staff. You could set your watch to the three rotating desk clerks, and each was extremely warm and hospitable. Wifi was very reliable, unlike that of other hotels which claim to offer it, and then it only works in the lobby. They maintain routers for each floor of the hotel to improve reception.

The manager woke up at 4:30 AM to prepare breakfast package for us as early leaving If you rent a boat, they have buoys available free of charge at front of the hotel. Surprisingly you do not hear the noises of other guest's moving around from outside which is always a problem in 3 stars hotels specially in Italy. Very wide selection of breakfast
