Review 1：we'r really enjoy staying in this hotel. it is near to airport. its clean. staff very friendly and helpful. the breakfast really yummy. taste so good.

Review 2：Wifi didn't work which does not suit most people especially those trying to organise business and important affairs and staff and hotel are rigid. Not relaxed. E.g. Strict closure of pool area at 7:30 ... Towards end of sunset. I think the management has put the fear into the staff. Hotel set up for local Muslims. Too expensive for what else is available and what you get.

Review 3：The location is beautiful and the staff are trying to be nice.

Review 4：Quite old hotel, dusty floors, electronic key system didn't work normally, we needed to go twice to the main reception to try to get working key. Better to pay cash, operations with cards take a lot of time. Room with view to swimming pool is a bad idea: after 8 a.m. kids are playing there - quite noisy.

Review 8：- They only gave one soap, for our 7 days stay, we have to asked them to give us another one !, they don't provide you something without asking !.- we could not make phone calls from our room and have to walk all the way to the reception to make phone call !. - we always keep our room as souvenir from the trips all over the world, and it is first time ever hotel asked to give it back for cheek out ! very weird. - the hotel is dead after sunset, no good Restaurant, even the sea is just steps away, you have to go to the city to spend the night out or for romantic dinner.

Review 10：I have been giving a room with paint smell inside it , i complain to the reception 3 times , each times he said i will call the housekeeping for check, nobody came at all. Then i went to him asking to meet the room division manger and we went together to the room and him self was shook about the paint smell.

Review 11：Not a bad experience actually. I stayed at their sea village, and it was far from the hotel facilities, so we had to either walk for about 5 minutes, or wait for the buggy service to arrive.

Review 12：I like the fact that it is outside of town, but close enough to get there (about 5-10 minutes by car). And also it is in the middle of 2 main attractions in Langkawi, which are activities in Cenang Beach and the Langkawi Cable Car ride.

Review 13：They are currently running 2 resorts at 1 front desk and I feel they are short of staff for the amount of guest they receive. Therefore, when someone calls to the front desk they are to busy to pick up and for the amount of money that we paid it seems unfair. The pictures say more of the place than it really is plus if you can't use the beach of the resort then why stay there. This is also something they should clarify and reduce the rate of the rooms because of it. Regardless of the season. In any case it is beneficial to rent a care and go out to explore the island as there is lots to do and see. Great palace to stay, rent a car and go but the price we paid was outrageous. We were expecting more from the resort and it's not worth it.

Review 30：Not being told that this is a Muslim resort and we couldn't get alchohol and that my partner was expected to wear a burkini when swimming in the resort pool this is not acceptable. The location is far from everything. The beach is not safe to swim at as it is polluted, with signs erected saying "no swimming "Booking dot com needs to state this on their website it's totally misleading and we couldn't move to another hotel as they required the total payment upfront on arrival, we won't be going back.

Review 118：Staff was not very informative or helpful. We were given very little information about the facilities at check-in. In general check in was laborious and painful. Multi-channel cable TV consists of 4 channels. The hotel is located quite far from the main beach area. the hotel only have 2 shuttle departures into town a day (which you have to sign up to a day in advance). Fascilities were run-down and could do with some maintenance especially around the pool area where floorboards were sticking out. In general this hotel is poorly maintained which is such a shame. If the staff got trained in providing a decent level of service and the hotel was maintained, it would be a great place but as it isnt, I really do not think it is worth the money

Review 119：Surroundings are stunning. The hotel is located in a beautiful lagoon. Breakfast was decent especially if you went down early.

Review 120：Where to start? The breakfasts were the same every day and boring. Staff were unhelpful or spoke no English. I cancelled a tour booking and then had to argue the case for a refund. So-called hot meals served at poolside took anything up to 90 minutes to arrive and were stone cold when they did. The most important thing to say is a comparison: we arrived in Langkawi after a week at the Eastern and Oriental Hotel in Penang (which was about the same price). The differences were amazing. The E&O is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Langkawi Lagoon Resort is one of the worst.

Review 127：For the this kind of rate, and the star rating of its, the food is poor, limited and not very much changing beween days (referring for bfast buffet) Check in time were late, thos i arrived aroun 3pm, still the room wasn't ready (i don't know if this happened to foreign tourist as well!) check out- got a phone call 1/2hr before 12pm to remind me to get out from the room, tho with polite and friendly tone, still i felt irritated bout it. While were at the counter, it was so slow to process the check-out guests. Also i can tell their staffs entertained the foreigners better than local (Malaysian).
