Review 1：The blue seas guest house is perfect. A warm friendly place that makes you feel like you are staying with a highly hospitable family. The staff go out of their way to please you and the food is excellent. the lady who runs the guest house is warm friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful and considerate.

Review 2：Lady who worked there was so friendly and lovely. The dinner they made us was excellent and I would highly recommend it. Wifi and room good. Close to beach, perfect for a night or a few.

Review 3：1st night was in a room without mosquito net, so i got bitten. They provide a repellant though. If you need a net, ask for the room with a net.

Review 4：The caretaker does not speak much English but tries is best to be helpful. The place is not easy to find for drivers/taxi, but its only 2 min. to the beach and really quiet.

Review 5：This is a wonderfull place. Janine and her colllegues give you such a warm welcome! We had problems with our lugage and Janine called every hour the AirPort to inform while we were visiting Colombo. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is great. Beach is a five minute walk. We had a very good time!

Review 13：I stayed here on New Year's Eve and this is a very clean guest house, in fact, cleaner than my own house in England. Just two minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes walk from major supermarkets. Staff are very friendly and the place is very well maintained. Hygiene and cleanliness definitely exceed Western standard. Breakfast and meals are properly prepared and they are fresh and tasty. Highly recommended and I will stay there again.

Review 14：Blue Seas is a fantastic budget to mid-range option. The location is ideal for Colombo- Mt Lavina is a nice area and from the Blue Seas you are less than a 5 minute walk from the beach- and also Galle Road- but the building is surprisingly quiet & peaceful as its surrounded by a garden. Rooms are simple & spotless, & most have balconies. There are also a couple of nice sitting areas with traditional furniture & fresh flowers. The breakfasts consist of fresh fruit, eggs, tea/coffee, & you can also ask for something Sri Lankan. They also do evening meals on request. The staff & level of service is exceptional. We stayed at the beginning & end of our trip & on both occasions when we arrived we were greeted by a manager who made us feel really welcome & chatted to us over a pot of tea. They were happy to keep a large bag for us during our holiday at no cost. The manager organised our pick up from the airport & our return- (about 3000 rupees). When we were up at 5am to get our taxi the staff were up to make us some coffee- we had said it was too early for breakfast so they made us fresh sandwiches to have at the airport.

Review 15：The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and polite! We felt very welcome. Good breakfast with toast, omelette, fresh fruit juice and fruit. Good wifi. The guest house is located just a few minutes walk from the beach. We can really recommend Blue Seas! If we come back to Sri Lanka and Mount Lavinia, this is where we will stay.
