Reviews for Dutch Hotel
Review 1:Accommodation was about a mile away from the reception and breakfast. Breakfast was very limited and not much of it.
Review 2:Great staff good parking facilities for our bikes
Review 3:Dutch Hotel is 1/2 mile from Hotel Old Dutch where check-in and breakfast is located. Poor parking at Hotel Old Dutch. Very small parking area at Dutch Hotel, so make sure you reserve a spot! Dutch Hotel has narrow steep stairs, no elevator. Room was clean and comfortable, but very compact. Bathroom was very compact indeed! WiFi was weird. My phone connected easily but my computer would not connect until I used my portable WiFi router.
Review 4:The breakfast buffet was good and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Review 5:For the check in and for breakfast we had to go to other building. Arriving with suitcases and to go back for check-in was a deception
Review 6:Price and near station and city centre.
Review 7:No tea coffee facilities.no English tv channels, stains on carpet, broken sink, holes in lots of ceiling tiles the room smelled of smoke even though it was a no smoking room no air con very noisy, paint peeling off the woodwork and in the corridor pipes.
Review 8:Locality
Review 9:The hotel has two units which are 800 meters apart. You have to check in and have breakfast in one unit and sleep in the other. So you need to enjoy walking. On a rainy day, this might be a big hassle. Other than that, good hotel.
Review 10:Friendy staff, good breakfast. Main unit close to the train station and downtown.
Review 11:It was not specified clearly on our confirmation that we had to check in at the Old Dutch Hotel across the road from the train station of which the street number is 8 and not 7. The Dutch Hotel is a fair walk (10 min) from the train station. When we opened the door to our non-smoking twin room (I believe it was 204) we were overwhelmed by the smell of smoke (pot?). Luckily the cleaning lady was nearby who released a can of air freshener which helped a little. Breakfast was at the Old Dutch hotel. No way am I returning to this place cough cough...
Review 12:Hotel has annexe up a hill. We had to walk about half a mile for breakfast and a cup of coffee as there were no facilities in room to make a drink first thing in the morning or at night.
Review 13:Given location of hotel and outside view the room was a very pleasant surprise.
Review 14:The hotel is an annex to a hotel in city centre. You have to check in there, as well as breakfast, etc. The hitel only has rooms. At night you need the windows open for fresh air (no airco), but in some rooms you will be bothered by train traffic right behind the building, which goes on all night.
Review 15:Historic location considering Market Garden. Nice old buildin in itself
Review 16:you get there. the building is locked. no sign. luckily, i found someone in the street that told me you have to get the key from another hotel 1km away. apparently it is written in small letters somewhere down the confirmation letter. a letter we all read carefully of course, through all 3 pages. a little sign would be nice!
Review 17:room is a little run down, but OK.
Review 18:I had to walk almost 1 km from check-in counter to go to my room, hotel should provide transport to transfer the guest. Once arrive nobody there in the room for help, room keycard number is confusing. The hotel doesn't provides kettle for boil water.
Review 19:Room condition and cleanliness is very good.
Review 20:The rooms are 800m from the main hotel (and so breakfast and town centre) which is a bit of a pain if you don't have a car. Apart from Sunday mornings, you will have to pay for street parking at both the main hotel and the room. The block where we stayed is right next to the railway track (see map on website), so make sure you ask for a room on the road side, which is a lot quieter.
Review 21:Nice breakfast, host allowed us to eat at 15 minutes after official closure time. Beds are very comfortable and room was warm on a cold evening. They gave us extra pillows because we asked for some.
Review 22:The staff was so rude and just interested in making money. This old man at the front desk told us there would be two beds (double bedroom) and made us pay for a room instantly, but right after we paid, he said there would only be one bed (with a smirk on his face). That's not what you need when you have been traveling all night and coming to your hotel at 8am and just want to sleep. Needless to say, we found another hotel in Arnhem. And what's the deal with the reception being over 800m away from the actual hotel? Anyway, if you like lousy service, bad staff and weird hotel operations, stay here. If not find somewhere else!!!
Review 23:Absolutely nothing! Well, the WiFi...
Review 24:the guy at the bar
Review 25:Only the guy at the bar .
Review 26:People can consider it a minor that you are not at the hotel itself but a few hundred metres apart.
Review 27:Cheap accomodation for the city centre.
Review 28:We arrived late and didn't know that the check inn was at the old Dutch hotel, 3 km away...
Review 29:Room was nice and clean
Review 30:littel far from downtown
Review 31:very nice sttaf
Review 32:Great little hideaway not too far from the city centre
Review 33:Good clean rooms. Good central location and staff very friendly!
