Review 2：We got moved out of the original room provided to us because another couple were staying in it for two nights. However we also booked accommodation for two nights, so it didnt make any sense.

Review 4：There is stains on the toilet seats and bath tub, and the room is very hot even we turn on the fans. We try to remove the kitchen smell by open the window for whole days but it wouldn't go away.

Review 13：We enjoyed our 3 night stay in Whitianga and this accommodation is very near the beach and within walking distance of the main town area. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. It is next door to the Lost Springs thermal pools and we had a fun afternoon there swimming in the warm water whilst it rained quite heavily.

Review 15：I didn't have any issue since I only have 2 people in the unit. But for more people, you may need to wait a bit for the bathroom as there is only 1 in such a big place. But trust me, it is worth it if you all want to enjoy each other's company in that wonderful space!!
Review 16：So much space and so clean!! This is a full size townhouse!! My unit has 2 rooms (and a basement room) with laundry, kitchen (note that I say kitchen, not kitchenette!!), living room, a lot of cable channels, 3 floors living, outdoor gas grill, a full size patio and a small balcony, and parking pad. On top of that, the unit is clean!! I mean, so clean I would not think it is a rental and I got so comfortable I fell asleep on the couch! (When I usually won't even wear anything other than my dirty jeans in other motels/hotels/motor lodges I stayed for years!!) The owners literally take off their shoes when they show me to the unit!! They are very friendly proud owners and rightfully so!! The location is awesome. You are about a block away from the beach, less than 5 min to get to the convenience store / restaurants. Owners are very helpful about what to do around there. Even have the low tide time for the hot water beach posted. Thank you so much for keeping up this nice gem!!
Review 17：The apartment could have been a bit cleaner. Bathroom had a bit of mould; wardrobes, ceilings, in and around furniture had quite a few cobwebs and spiders; there were a couple of cigarette ends on the balcony; crockery was greasy. In general the apartment was cleaned to a fair standard, with the bed linen being spotless and I would stay there again but I think a bit more attention to detail would be good for a more thorough clean.
Review 18：Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The apartment we stayed in had a view of the beach. It was big and well decorated. The bed and sofas were very comfy and the kitchen came fully equipped with a variety of crockery and utensils. The washer and dryer were also very handy. Free access to play tennis, the swimming pool, bikes and shovels for hot water beach were nice additions.

On ringing the motel The ring was found in our room on the floor. Pamela could not have done more for me and arranged to courier the ring to a later destination. Great service. Forever thankful.

It was very well equipped, amd presented but we felt a little awkward amongst someone elses personal furnishings etc. The service clean was good. If given the option, we would have been happy to have used our towels more than once, and helped the environment. The bed was very creaky and probably needs a little repair work.

They offerred us to move to another room but we declined as it was explained that we could access wi fi by going to or near the office. We basically think it was worthwhile given we were half unpacked. Wi Fi was actually accessable most of the time from the room but very slow.
Review 72：Oceans Resort is somewhat of a large complex without the feeling of it being that way. We were lucky to have an unit with a balcony facing the water. We liked the fact that the living and bedroom was on 2nd floor. There was a 2nd bath and bed on first floor but we did not use. Easy walk to town for dining or take away.

Review 84：Hardly any negatives. Constructive comments would be that the Wifi was very slow so could be upgraded; no teapot but lots of tea; paying extra for beach towels (but they came with two free beach bags).

Review 96：Didn't like the two sets of stairs, the small bathroom and the dreadful duvet in the master bedroom. The duvet and the bedroom furniture should reflect an upmarket apartment. The bedside lamps were basic, the vinyl chair was cracked and the room felt sub standard. A little more effort with bedroom furnishing would enhance the experience and there should be a mirror in each bedroom.

Then felt a bit like I was rattling around in this great big house, and I probably felt a bit less secure. I think this place is more set up for families staying for a stretch of time, rather than for one person for one night.
