Review 1：Creaky bed n wardrobe, drawers n bed corners falling apart, toilet door can't be locked, shower drainage bad,.towel on one day smell of smoke and shortage every day, room food service is slow.

Review 2：Bathroom had a bad smell. Staff were not unfriendly but were not forthcoming with helpfulness either. Breakfast was just ok. We were not aware that there was a loud disco in the hotel on weekends.

Review 11：This was our 1st hotel at Sri Lanka. Close to beach and Mount Lavinia main street. Room was just OK. Wi-Fi was good.

The contact number given by web is a hand phone number, when I contact that number to find the place on my arrival the person who reply didnt know exactly the place, but she gave me another number to assist.

Review 18：Initially the night clerk placed me in the wrong room with twin beds on 2nd floor when a double on the higher floor was specifically requested and the hotel had several available appropriate rooms. The eventual room had several faults: dirty sheet, hair on pillow, blocked shower drain, non-working wi-fi. All were corrected by helpful lady manager in the morning but should have been good on arrival. After agreement to pay for the first night on arrival and second night on departure I was rung at 2pm on the second day by a male manager aggressively demanding payment in full immediately. I did so, but it left a very sour taste. The only useful staff person was the lady on the desk.

Review 19：Best quality for the price hotel on my short stay in Sri Lanka, which says something about the others too. Good pressure hot water at both shower and sink taps, door on shower, several English news and movie channels, comfortable bed, good wifi once it started working, one good helpful English-speaking staff lady.

Review 20：Very far from the beach. If you wanna walk to the ocean, you would go through streets and along railways! Impossible to let children walk alone! Better to take tuk-tuk, but it's rather expencive. The city around hotel is noisy and dirty. Better to stay in beach hotels 30-100km away from Colombo. Mount Lavinia is not good for beash rest-too many people, too expencive food, too dirty beaches. I advice Bentota and Hikkaduwa and other so far places! Don't afraid long way from airport! There is highway - you pay additionally 300rupies and you'll reach bentota in 1,5 hours, Galle in 2-2,5 hours by taxi!

Review 24：Loud on site nightclub that goes until all hours of the morning could be heard in my room. I will never understand why hotels do that to their guests. Could not connect to the wifi in my room, so gave up as was only staying the night on a stopover.

I selected this hotel without having clear idea of Colombo plan, so ... think first what you need this location for

Review 62：In English as on a foreign computer...from the minute I arrived I was welcomed personally by the manager and reception staff, give orange juice and a cold refreshing towel. I had a great room with a nice view of the sea. All rooms have a good view I believe. The room was spacious and has everything you would need including a hair dryer and a nice sized shower. Even cleaner than my previous 5 star hotel! The roof terrace on 4th floor is awesome..360degree view of sea and surrounding area, I ate my breakfast and dinner up there a lot as the breakfast room was a bit un-inspiring. The food was ok but not great, but All staff were helpful and friendly, manager took me under his wing as I was a lone traveller and we drank arrak together one night, he also helped me find the cheapest transport and advised me on many other things. he was a sweet heart. The beach is 5 minutes away, yes you have to cross a rail line to the beach but that's the same with every hotel - even the mount Lavinia hotel as all of the beach is just right next to the railway. The trains don't come by very often, so it was never a problem. The pool is much better than in the photo, nice and big and has some sun most of the day but also some shade :-)The beach here is much better than negombo and has some nice bars and restaurants. There are tuk-tuks outside the hotel to take u anywhere and are super cheap. The best restaurant on the beach was loon Tao and the all white restaurant further down from loon Tao, Excellent service and food these places. I had a great stay, would recommend it 100%.

Review 63：The hot water in the shower didn't work, but honestly, it didn't really matter. Sri Lanka is a pretty warm country, and it's not like the "cold" water was really ice cold, more room temperature.

Review 64：Service at the hotel was fantastic. Room was nice, comfortable bed, good AC, satellite TV ( picture was a little static-y, but watchable ). Morning breakfast was great as well.
