Reviews for Bahura Resort and Spa
Review 1:If there's one thing I didn't like, it's the banana choco smoothie, not that it was bad but simply because it was priced too high for its taste. I don't know with the other rooms but the bed we got was one whose foam was made of springs. Yes, it was really huge and comfy for my wife and daughter, judging from their sound, undisturbed sleep. Thing is, for me, it took a bit of getting used to, as I'm more used to cushion foams.
Review 2:The pool is great. The palm trees accenting it, superb. It was well maintained and crystal clean. Also, I liked our room. Its size and ambience felt more than what we paid for. There was no wifi in the room and wifi was slow in the supposed wifi spot, but i didn't mind—I personally believe vacations are supposed to be that way: gadget-free, so as to enjoy nature and your companions more.
Review 3:I cannot fault the resort. However, because it is such a large property with extensive buildings and landscaping, and close to the abrasive elements from the sea, it is important that maintenance be kept up.
Review 4:Bahura resort was selected as it was a stopover en route to Apo Island. It was well located only a few kilometres from the Matapay harbour ferry set off point. The setting was superb, the staff were excellent. Particularly Geraldine in reception who answered 101 questions patiently as how to get around the district, including Apo Island. I will stop there again but for 2 nights next time. It is so peaceful at this place, and the people are so accommodating. It is close to the sea. Free Wi Fi was appreciated as many hotels do charge top rates for Wi Fi use.
Review 5:Firstly it is not 7.5klms from dumaguette city. It is in fact 17.5. The showers are very poor. The bath towels worn and threadbare one had actual holes as had the foot towel. The driveway into the resort needs upgrading as it is not much more than a dirt track. All in all quite dated and does not deserve anymore than a 1* rating. Totally overpriced. Would definitely not stay again nor recommend it.

Review 18:The room did not have block out curtians, the lounge suit could havebeen a lot better, the tv set was an old tube one that was small thespa bath was only for one small person, the mini bar cauld have beenstocked withsnacks and more drinks as it was so far out of the citynothing in walking distance the menu was a bit limited, there was noreal service at the pool, I went and ordered some drinks which wherenice, but the waiter never came bace at all to see if we wanted anymore, getting service out of some of the staff was a bit hard I thinkthey just need training,

Review 20:Nothing.
Review 21:The beautiful swimming pool. The diving school and the corals in the Dauin sanctuary. The spacious and comfortable rooms. The sundecks at the poolside with clean cushions and towels everyday.
Review 22:Isolated - local bus (unreliable schedule) or pricely hotel transport the only options to get to town for other restaurant options
Review 23:Big rooms, comfortable bed, quiet location
Review 24:I wanted to snorkel. No information or assistance was offered. We alsowanted to go to Apo Island. We wanted to book for March and use the sameroom for 7-8 days. Unable to do so. Invest in a white table cloth forbreakfast and dinner. Charge a bit more. Get the seat cushions out onthe pool deck earlier. Sitting on a hard lounge chair is uncomfortable.Love the site. We want to return!!!! We live in Manila----would like tomake continuous return trips. You should do something special forcustomers such as us who will talk up the resort if discounts areoffered to us. Best, Dr. Juve
Review 25:I like the pool, the lack of noise, the room and shower, the breakfastand the beach. I wanted to snorkel, but was unable to . The staff didnot inform us of the opportunities for swimming in the ocean and we alsowanted to whale watch, go to Apo island and dive. We also wanted to bookagain for a week's stay in March. We were unable to do so.
