Review 1：The rooms are tiny and the staff not friendly at all. Breakfast not worth mentioning. You pay good money, but only for the view. Not 4 star hotel at all.

I was a little disappointed with the view from our room as I had asked for a nice view from the room but could only see it from a small window but in all our stay was really nice the receptionist was particularly helpful as we wanted to travel to Venice by train she helped us arrange the transport Infact nothing was too much trouble for her I would definatly return

Review 14：Our sixth stay in this beautiful, lakeside city hotel. No traffic in the walled city and everything within walking distance makes for relaxing holiday. Peace and quiet, lovely views, air conditioning. A lake view room with balcony is recommended

Review 15：air conditioning was on ceiling and did not change angle so only really hit one spot in room - made sleeping difficult as couldn't get cool unless sleeping on floor in line with air conditioning unit

Review 17：These are not so much dislikes as “could do better”. Most things werereasonable but not the best. The room was roomy and adequate but ratherbasic. The air conditioning worked but was not quite cool enough. Thewi-fi worked but the log-in procedure was complicated and had to be doneevery time (incidentally, it was free and not charged as Booking comsite stated). The staff were professional but not particularly friendly.Breakfast was fine but nothing special with the café latte not hotenough. I am not sure I would go back there but might try the hotel nextdoor next time.

Review 18：Hotel Duomo is all about location. It is in Salo, which is our sort ofItalian town. The hotel is by the lake, close to the shops, restaurants,bars and embarkation point for the boats. Some of the nearby restaurantsare wonderful so we would never dream of using the hotel restaurantwhich appeared to be fine but not the same as the atmosphere in atypical Italian family restaurant.

Review 29：I thought there was a pool, but there is only a small spa. The hotel staff seem to have many jobs to do, so having to wait at the bar for a drink until the staff member finishes all their paperwork with customers at the counter. They don't acknowledge you are there, so even just to say that they will be with you in a moment.

Review 30：Hotel Duomo is in the perfect location in Salo for a solo traveller. The Duomo is right behind the hotel, a stunning church. Close to all restaurants, shops and boat hire. The view looking out of the hotel across the lake is amazing! You can hire a push bike or take a boat ride. Very quiet location and you feel very safe. I would return.

Review 31：The Location of this hotel is superb, the views are fantastic and isideal for exploring Salo and the rest of Lake Garda. The hotel staffwere very helpful, especially the waiter in the evening, you can driveyour car right upto the front of the Hotel 9even though it is part ofthe promenade and looks as if you cant!) to unload and then they giveyou directions to a free car park a short walk away. Breakfast was fab -cappacinos and omelettes included! We would go back.

Review 32：A little more variety in the breakfast offering would be nice and the breakfast time 7am-10am is maybe for a holiday hotel a bit too narrow, especially with our kids that like to sleep sometimes a bit longer.
