Review 1：Location a five minute walk to castle & 10 minute walk to train station. Very cost feeling.staff very helpful & friendly. Breakfast was divine.

Review 2：The location for visiting Himeji castle was very good. There is easy access to dining options in the covered market area between the hotel and the railway station. The bus to Mount Shosha stops close to the hotel which made an afternoon trip there after visiting Himeji Castle in the morning an easy option. There is a laundry in the hotel which made it very convenient for catching up on some washing. The rooms in the hotel are very small (acknowledging that it is a budget hotel). We could not get our bags in and open both the hotel room door and the bathroom door at the same time. We also had difficulty getting the air conditioning cool enough. Eventually I spoke to the gentleman at reception who assured me that there was a central control for the air-conditioning and that it would cool down at 11pm, which it did. Travelling with two suitcases meant that this hotel was fine for one night but would be difficult to manage for longer.

Review 3：It was easy walking distance to the train station as well as the castle. The amenities were really nice in the room as we had a room with a private bath. My only complaint would be that the rooms are very small and the beds and pillows were a little too firm for my liking. That seems to be the standard that we found everywhere though. The staff was very nice and accommodating! And we enjoyed the breakfast very much.

Review 24：Not exactly this hotel's problem, but a general problem in Japan. My VISA cards where not accepted and it took several tries with my MasterCard, because the chip was smudged.

Review 25：The hotel has a very good location, halfway between the train station and Himeji castle. You don't need a bus, you can just walk. It is also connected to a covered shopping alley where you can find good food. The room was nicely decorated with a bamboo theme and was clean and comfortable. The staff, as everywhere in Japan, doesn't speak English fluently, but at least they are helpful. I also liked that i could leave my bags in the lobby after checking out to go visiting before leaving the town. Tea is offered for free in the lobby.

Review 49：The stuff is really helpful and careful with details. we had even a hand written welcome note in the room. The room was clean and neat. Sufficient furniture. It doesn't feature the usual built-in toilet/shower but a properly built one, with even specially anti-fog mirror in the bathroom. The holtel is close to Himeji castle (the castle is now unpacked and you can see it again, but only low castle interiors are open for public - nice visit, gardens are also worth to visit). Nice restaurants around. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from JR station, but only 5 minutes from Himeji castle. From JR station walk toward Himeji castle and on second last light stop turn right (at the main road). The hotel is 2 or 3 blocks fron this crossroads. Or you may get a covered (nice when raining) street one block right and walk along shops to the end, then turn right.
