Review 1：Ugly view. Bedroom downstairs very cramped, no room for suitcases. A very poorly equipped kitchen: no sharp knife, only just enough crockery so that every time had a cup of tea had to wash up. Only one tea towel in a three bedroom apartment! Only one face cloth for every 2 people! Managers had very poor knowledge of amenities: a doctor was needed and they had no idea if any were available in town also didn't know if pharmacy would be open. Below what's expected in a holiday spot. Generally not impressed.

Review 3：Was advertised as luxury & spa. Of all the days we were there, wecould not use Spa facilities. Every time we approached reception theyhad a new reason for not opening it for us. Most office hours thereception was locked with a phone number on door to call. No oneanswered the phone, no one called us back seeing the miss call. Fewtimes phone was answered after 6pm and reply would be sorry receptionclosed. We booked seeing the spa, seems this people use the spa &luxury words for advertising. Internet was suppose to be free during ourstay but only first day the wifi worked.

Review 7：The only thing I noticed was wanting to run a bath but the tap wasn't working properly and was only outputting hotwater and no cold water at all. No major but worth flagging.

Review 8：The whole accommodation was very pleasant and close vicinity to everything which suited our little family very well. Perfect location to everything and the self contained set up was very well suited to us.

Review 10：Both nights we stayed the fire alarm went off 2.30am first night 4.30am second night, we had a long journey next morning with very little sleep and no compensation for disturbance

Review 17：We came on Christmas eve to a self contained apartment and only had enough washing powder, dishwasher powder for one day. Shops were closed on public holiday but we made do with dining out suggestions from staff and washed when we could get more powder. I am sure that if we had insisted on more of these requirements the staff would have been generous with assistance. Not a big issue at all.

Review 18：Bob & Rita went out of their way to help us, late night arrival from airport to a clean and well appointed apartment. Bob organised a game of golf and Rita made enquiries about our daughter being in need of anything after dislocating her shoulder on the second day of our stay. Very considerate and friendly being it was a very busy time for them.

Review 49：1. We arrived to the apartment after the closing hour which we did apologise at arrival. However, this was due to unforeseen circumstance. The weather driving up from Wellington was atrocious and there was no reception for us to call to advice our lateness. The body language/attitude made us feel very guilty for coming in late. 2. We felt a bit disappointed that we were not allowed to use the spa only because someone had booked. Looking in the book that was provided, there was no instruction saying we had to book the spa. It said the spa is open until 6pm and we had requested to use the spa at 4.30pm. It was, however, nice to get to use the spa (after being told that the spa was booked by someone until 5.15pm, when the spa was empty the whole time after 4.30pm)

Also think the site should say only serviced once if staying longer than four days (if says serviced apartments but then further down weekly - bit ambiguous) and this is only a new set of towels. No other service provided. Husband asked for a couple more little sugar pouches and was told only provide the first day and if run out, have to get your own!!!!

Review 72：Bob was a nice guy, but Rita complained about some people using the hoseto remove the dirt on the car, saying that the place is not a car wash,and she wasn't so polite.

Review 76：The attitude and unprofessional behaviour of the management staff ( male). The hours of use of the spa and the fact that we had to unpadlock the lid (2-3 padlocks) and lock it after use. Isnt this the job of the staff? There was no dryer apparently due to previous guests overheating it. Instead we were advised to use the laundrymat down town at our own cost- when I complained I was spoken too in a very rude manner witnessed by my family...it rained while were there so we were hanging out the washing on the balcony . After the incident with the rude man we received a card of apology and a 40 dollar voucher 2 days later. The dryer and spa I can live with but the attitude of the management staff I cant , and as a consequence will never stay at this place again and will not recommend it to colleagues friends or family.

Review 78：We booked 4 bedroom apartment, thinking that it will be something spectacular. When we arrived and went up, it appears that one of the bedroom you can hardly call a bedroom. Ni windows, no fan it should be a storage room. the apartments description said air/ con, but they only mean fan in a living room by that. As well as internet access there none even if you are willing to pay for it. Staff very unfriendly. Would not recommend it.

Review 80：The walkways and stairs to the apartments were very noisy and due to that we could hear everybody's coming and going which was not great especially early morning and also difficult for us to keep noise down as well for other guests.

Review 81：Everything, beautiful apartments, we were welcomed by the caretaker at the time who was filling in for the owners/managers and he took us to our room and showed us everything.

Review 82：one of my guess walked into the ranch slider glass thinking it was opened and she walk into it cutting the top eye lid didn't need Stitches. Maybe there should be something on the glass so that someone else doesn't hurt them shelves. Just letting you know.

Review 89：I made an incorrect booking of 2 bedrooms, which have 2 double beds -I thought it was one double and 2 singles, we were 3 friends. When we pointed out our dilema, we were offered apartment with 3 rooms for extra money. When we went to pay - this was bought up in discussion, as i believed i had booked 1 double and 2 singles. I was told if i wanted to book this they would normally give you a 3 room apartment but lock one of the doors. Why were we not offered this option. We felt scammed, I will not stay here again and will not reccommend to stay here. I understand i booked incorrectly but it seems the management intent was just to get extra money rather than customer satisfaction. We wish we had said nothing and one of us slept on the couch. 'that is against the rules'

The mistake lies either with yourbooking arrangement or with the hotel manager who is saying that thearrangement I made is with Booking.com and never with them. Review 101：These apartments are spectacular, a 2 minute walk to to the town center and a 1 minute walk to the beach surrounded by gorgeous restaurants and friendly people. The staff are brilliant and the apartments are luxurious and spacious. I enjoyed every minute and did not want to leave.

Review 102：The attitude of the Management when we arrived late after phoning themto let them know we would be late. The lack of knowledge about the areawhen asked where places and things to do were. For luxury accommodationthere was only 1 coffee each and less of sugars supplied. When we askedfor extra coffees for four were only given one more each. We stayed for2 nights. We had to pay before we could get into the apartment late atnight. Being 4 ladies aged 60+ we weren't going to run off overnightand then being overcharged by $60. We had to wait until the office wasopen to receive a refund. What a shame as the apartment was very nice. Iwould recommend Whitianga to others but would not recommend CrowsnestApartments.

Rather wait for the tenants to respond. If there is no answer, knock a second time and make sure there is no answer before entering the apartment.
