Surrounded by a large garden of olive groves and woods, Podere Vigliano dates back to the early 1800s. It now offers Tuscan style apartments, each with a private entrance, living room and fully equipped cooking facilities.

Review 1：Nothing! My only regret was that we had not booked for a longer stay.

Review 2：Everything! Our split level, two bedroom home was beautiful. The view out of this world, loved the village. Nicollo was there for everything we needed and our lunch with Valeria was outstanding.

Review 4：Niccolo was brilliant and helped us out with everything we needed (even a last minute ride!). The location is stunning and the apartments were spacious, clean, and importantly in July, nice and cool! Especially considering how affordable our stay was, I couldn't recommend this place highly enough!

Review 5：The property is in a stunning location on a hill overlooking vineyard, olive groves and picturesque Tuscan villages. The pool is an added bonus for a refreshing swim after a day of sightseeing. The villas are well equipped and comfortable with local shops nearby . The owner Nicolo is a great host, warm welcoming and on hand to look after your needs and any issues. This is an excellent property to explore Tuscany or just to relax.

Review 6：Helaas was het zwembad de hele week niet beschikbaar vanwege defecte pompsysteem. Er werd wel hard aan een oplossing gewerkt. We hebben een paar tientjes korting als compensatie op verblijf gekregen.

Review 7：In meivakantie bezocht. Temperatuur elke dag rond 28 graden. Prachtige lokatie met grote tuin eromheen. Vriendelijke gastheer. Supermarkt op loopafstand, alhoewel wel behoorlijke klim omhoog langs autoweggetje. In Tavernelle en naburige Barberino zijn kleine speeltuintjes aanwezig.

Review 8：The views are stunning! The room was spacious, clean and very typically Tuscan. Niccolo our host was the best! We will return! P. S. They are starting a dinner and wine tasting this week, that will be a great addition!

Review 9：Nicolo was very friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful and the location between Florence and Sienna and hill towns made it an excellent base for exploration.

Review 13：Nicollo was the best. He was extremely friendly, gave us all the directions for the best restaurants, places to visit and attended to all our needs immediately. This is a perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday. The views are extraordinary from the cottage nd all the facilities in the apartment are provided.

Review 16：There was no wifi in the room. You had to go outside and around the other side of the hotel to get the wifi which wasn't great, especially if the weather was bad or the mozzies were out!

Review 18：Just couple of hiccups but very minor. There was no toilet paper provided so we had to go to the local market to get some which was not a big deal at all since everything else was just amazing. Also, the parking lot is super tight - we ended up with a minivan so took us a while to get in and out. There was some construction on going on next door but we weren't bothered by it at all.

Review 19：We loved the view from the property and the yard. The apartment came with a bbq grill which we didn't end up using but the kitchen was amazing and made us feel like home. The master bedroom was so clean and spacious! Niccolo our host was so amazing and helped us with everything even our laundry since we were traveling for a while! We didn't get to use the pool but it was so nice and the view was just breathtaking. We forgot a wine glass souvenir and Niccolo was nice enough to ship it back to us to New York. We will be back here for sure since it was very reasonably priced and felt so secluded, we may have bumped into just 3 other couples for the entire property! It was also located close to their local super market and was the best location to do some day trips :) Never wanted to leave!

Review 20：Only a minor point, our apartments outside space was far enough away that we didnt want to leave the baby asleep in the apartment whilst we had an evening meal outside. If it was attached to the apartment we could have enjoyed the view!

Review 21：Our apartment was huge! with 2 shower bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a well equipt kitchen. Niccolo is extremely helpful and an excellent host. Even gave us a lift when no taxi available!! The view from the pool is amazing, perfect tuscany countryside. Nearby town, within walking distance but we didnt risk the walk due to the road being very narrow with no footpath, and a little tricky with a pushchair! Car hire essential.

Review 22：If you choose to stay and cook the place it could have a few additional kitchen supplies for cooking. Some units do not have internet but there is an area where you can access the internet in the main area which has nice chairs to sit down in. Overall these are minor dislikes and can be overcome by the host and the location with the view it has.

Review 23：This place is located about a 15 drive from Florence depending on traffic. It is strategically located in a really nice pocket of Tuscany to see all the small towns a short drive away. The host speaks English very well and is very knowledgeable and helpful to all patrons about assisting with trip plans. A COOP store is located about a 30 second drive away from the unit which has plentiful groceries and good wine. I would highly recommend this unit to other travellers. The hotel provides a bottle of wine to each guest upon arrival which is very good. The hotel is located in a very quiet area with spectacular views which are much better than the photos provided on the website. The gardens are well maintained with rosemary and apple trees on the property. I would highly recommend this place to other travellers. There are only 7 units in this place.

Review 24：The apartment was very clean and the owner, Niccolo, very kind and helpful. The apartment was very cosy with 2 comfortable seats. The view from the pool fantastic. At arrival we found a made up babybed in the room, including mosquito net. It was the perfect place to spent our first holiday with our 3 month old baby. Thank you Niccolo!!

Review 26：Spaceious and comfortble rooms, a big nice garden and a fantastic view from the pool-area. Vigliano is in the heart of Chianti with short drives from beatiful small villages (the staff was very helpfull to recomend places and restaurants to visit), and just 30/40km from both Florence and Sienna. We had a fantastic week and hope to return.

Review 27：As said already we really liked Podere Vigliano and really only have some very small details that could be improved. Especially when travelling with a small child a microwave oven would be really appreciated. It would also be nice if some basic ingredients would be available. Now we had to buy everything from the supermarket including e.g. salt and dishwashing liquid. Bit sad that all that is probably thrown away and the next people buy new ones. In Tuscany all the waste is recycled but the apartment or even the whole property didn't have any system for that. One more small detail was that the pillows were quite awful. Please replace them and fix these small details and the place is a paradise.

Review 28：We really enjoyed our stay in Podere Vigliano. The view is amazing, pool area and garden very well maintained. The manager is friendly and all our requests were met and even more. Our apartment with bedroom and a living area was bright and nice. We had a door to the common area outside and also to other side with a more private grass area. Podere Vigliano is located close to a small town and you could even walk to a good supermarket.

Review 29：The holiday apartment was fantastic. Our apartment was large and one of the bedrooms had double aspect windows overlooking the hills of Chianti. A perfect view to wake up to! The swimming pool and gardens are meticulously maintained. As others have said, Niccolo is the perfect host offering advice on places to visit. Ideally situated to visit Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. Fantastic local restaurants. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to returning very soon.

Review 46：The villa was a 'home away from home', beautifully appointed in an idyllic setting. Our host Niccolo was wonderful and made our stay more enjoyable by his attention to detail. The local wines, available at the villa, were superb. Showers were hot with plenty of hot water for 4 of us. The local township of Tavarnelle was able to provide everything we needed and was only a short walk away (700m). A great start to our holiday.

Review 47：We have just come back from Easter holidays and evertything wasexcellent. Podere Vigliano is perfect place to stay if you want to goaround Tuscany. The appartment was great, very big with nice kitchen andtwo bathrooms. We were there with two kids (girl 2,5 and boy 11) andthey were enjoy in the beautiful garden around the house. Nicolo, theowner, is perfect, he was helping us in every questions we had(recomondation and reservation of restaurants, seightseeing). We arelooking forward to come back.

The apartments are very well run, beautifully furnished, a great place to return to after a days sightseeing. You have a big patio to relax and the swimming pool gives you time to relax! The attention from the owner is a very nice. Perfect to travel to Siena, Florence and other small villages. Just a perfect stay!!

Review 56：Nicolo was a great host and we enjoyed our 6 nights staying at the apartment. Our bedroom room had lovely views and the central heating helped keep us warm during the cooler nights.
