Review 1：Only few things i was not keen on, the restaurant only had 4 mains dishes on, none of which i would eat and as this hotel is not close to any restaurants we had to travel quite far to eat, a wider selection on the menu would be great, Also it advertises a poker table on the website but when we asked we was told it was unavailable as was at another hotel, believe this should have been mentioned on the website that it is not always on site.

Review 2：The hotel was lovely, very comfortable, great views and great staff who were extremely helpful.

Review 3：I want spent my hollidays with quiet, that's why I chose this hotel. Room service don't tell me, that in saturday midnight there will be a fireworks show. Also, when I watch out about then, I don't receive an apology. It was disappointing. In the pool there is a kind of carpet, instead tiling. It's very strange.

Review 5：One couple had a room in the main building on the third flour. There is no elevator and no porter to help with the luggage. Other couple stayed in villa on a hill. The same problem. This villa was also missing few steps to the entrance.There is a beach of the hotel but no chairs to sit on.

Review 7：This place is like middle of nowhere (the nearest store is in Trakai, taxi costs 12 €). Hotel staff confirmed by e-mail that the taxi transfer from Margis to Vilnus is approximately 25 €, but the bill was 42 €.

Review 17：Very close to a busy road, you hear the traffic all the time, not romantic at all. The property is squeezed between other private properties, every centimeter around the lake is private, you do not get a free feeling, no direct view to the lake - you see other private property houses, cannot have a walk, feels more like locked up. We had to go to Trakai for a walk and other fun. One of the massage ladies was very unprofessional, had no idea what a good massage is. Very baldly prepared. Sauna complex is tiny: two tiny sauna's, one tiny swimming pool with very cold water and two tiny massage rooms.

Review 18：Cosy little villa's, nice view at the lake, rather small hotel, so very quiet. Hotel has two rowing boats for free use - that is great. Very good french oriented restaurant, but sometimes small mistakes occur - dirty, unwashed mint on the cake….

Review 19：A quiet hotel next to Margis lake, few minutes drive from Trakai, with most kindly staff, that is willing to help in any query or request. The hotel has a lot of grass areas, but also playgrounds for kids and sports activities and rowing boats for going into the lake. Very recomended !!!

Review 21：Nice place for 3-4 days stay. Lake is great, it is worth taking a boat. We had a "Luxe villa" which was good balance of price and quality. It has actually two floors. Food in restaurant was good quality but selection is not too big - enough for few days. There is no cooking plate in the room kitchen, only sink and fridge. Also road is pretty close - when you are outside or have windows open you can hear it. Didn't bother at night though.

Review 48：there is no elevator in this hotel. we reserved the best room in the hotel as appeared in "booking.com" and paid accordingly but it was not mentioned that it is on the 4th floor without a lift!!! the water pressure in the shower and in the sink was very low. one could hardly wash hands. there were not curtains/ shades in all the windows of our room so in the morning there was a lot of light which woke us very early. in the bath there was a very old fashion curtain. I think these things don't fit a 4 stars hotel. the staff hardly speaks English.

Review 50：The villa was absolutely unsafe both for children and adults. Water both in kitchen and shower changed from cold to boiling just by turning the tap literally by 2 millimeters. The stairs to the villa entrance were missing and my pregnant wife and 2 years old kid literally had to climb the 0,5 meters terrace to get into the house. Window curtains did not cover the full window, so it was so weird have your bedroom in front of everyone. Moreover, the hotel was described as SPA, but when we arrived we were told the pool is under construction. I did not expect such a bad experience from such a good located place.

Review 55：First, please correct my rating on Amber Spa Boutique Hotel in Jurmala. You have it listed as 2.5, whereas I intended it to be 10. The error occurred because I completed the rating on my iPhone, which did not have words next to the rating circles. I have emailed Booking.com, but the error has not been corrected. Please correct and confirm. Now, with reference to Margis: Margis Hotel is in a serene location by a beautiful lake. We stayed in a top floor executive suite which involved climbing up over 50 stairs, but the room was spacious and fantastic, with excellent views too. The staff were very caring and showed real concern for the comfort of the guests. Excellent indoor swimming pool. Brilliant massage therapist. Reception staff were lovely, but check out took 30 minutes due to technical problems. Restaurant is first class with an extensive menu. Overall we were very happy with the Margis experience and would definitely go back.

Review 57：loved every minute i spent in the hotel. the food is wonderful, the stuff is very friendly and helpful. we asked for a electric teapot and they gave us. we were leaving the hotel early in the morning, and they gave us breakfast to take with us. hamam is wonderful. the area around the hotel is quite and peaceful.
