Review 1：The atmosphere was fabulous and the view to Trakai castle was adorable. In room was small fireplace with all needed to make the firelight and fell as at home.

Review 4：This is an excellent hotel located right in the middle of Trakai attractions. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was really nice and comfortable. Variety of different restaurants around, one of the was has quite fancy cuisine.

Review 5：We were 2 adults with 2 children and we got small table for breakfast for 2 persons. There were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant. Staff suggested for us additional chair for one child and baby chair for our baby. But it was really difficult to manage all plates, cups and food on one small table.

Review 18：The travel season had not started yet, so we had a chance to enjoy relaxing holidays right by the lake in a place that we can imagine being very busy during the summer months. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we asked. Breakfast was amazing and huge! This is one of the rare hotels these days that had hair conditioner provided along with the other bathroom supplies. Overall great experience!

Review 20：This was my second visit to Trakai and the Apvalaus stalo klubas. Both visits were for genealogy research and family visits. The Apvalaus stalo klubas is in a very convenient location for sightseeing and access to local roads. Everything we had to eat was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Definitely would go there again.

Review 22：The location at the lake shore with a view of the castle was fantastic. Our room was big and old fashioned in a nice way. The food in the restaurants (the hotel has three) was very good, and so was the breakfast. We also enjoyed the small jacuzi and sauna facilities in the basement that we could rent and have all to ourselves. The staff was very helpful and flexible - a perfect place for a weekend.

Review 24：Our room was beautifully and tastefully decorated with a wonderful view of the castle though not a large room. We upgraded our room upon arrival to get that view. Well worth it! Receptionist was pleasant, helpful and patient as we explored alternate rooms. Lovely personal amenities and touches to the room. (Robes, toiletries) Extensive, tasty breakfast buffet in one of the hotel's restaurants. You can't beat the locale of this hotel!

Review 29：This is more a restauarnt with rooms than a hotel. Rooms are cramped with nowhere to put clothes or sit. The whole feeling was not conducive to relaxation.

Review 31：The staff were hopeless – no one seemed to be in charge and they were in much need of training. We arrived at 14.45 – check in was 14.00 and they said room not ready come back in an hour. Which we did – then “oh the administrator has gone to lunch” come back later. Eventually we got our room at 16.15. The next day we were awoken early by a noisy lorry being unloaded to find an opera staging, sound system and seating for 250 being set up right outside our bedroom window – overlooking the lake and a pontoon. Which was fine as we like opera and we got a great view from our room – but it would have been good it they had mentioned it! Or offered us a free ticket for the inconvenience caused. We were there 4 nights – each day we returned to the room after 16.00 to find it had not been cleaned or serviced – we had to ask each time and reception looked at us as if it was something very unusual to expect a 4 star hotel room to be cleaned daily! They said “oh you want it cleaning? When?” When I said now, quickly they were very off hand even though it was late afternoon. Each day something was missed – glasses and tea cups went unwashed, bottled water not replaced toiletries not replaced, towels mission and the blind was stuck in the raised position and not repaired. The shower fixing was broken and we had to ask for it to be fixed. The curtain tie back kept falling out of the wall and was never repaired. In a hotel of this standard these things should be checked. The restaurant was nicely furnished – and the food was mostly good except for a Carpaccio of venison with “smoke” which came in a big cover which when removed smelled like someone one had been puffing Turkish cigarettes under it and completely spoiled the taste of the meat. It could be really fantastic – but only with a good manager who is hands on and some thorough staff training.

Review 32：The location was fantastic - fight opposite the Trakai Castle and on the Lakeshore. Rooms were well appointed but a bit on the small side. We had a castle view double which lived up to the name. There was car parking if pre-booked. Essential as parking seemed to be a nightmare in the town.

Really enjoyed it, although this room might be not so comfy during the high season, when tons of tourists are passing by just few meters from your bedroom.

Review 109：Our room was on the ground floor with window blinds broken, therefore, either you have to close the curtain and have no view for which we paid extra, or let all passers by watch you in the room :) On the second day, the room was not cleaned, the bed not done, the towels still on the floor. The heated floor was only on the first day, the second day it was not heating anymore. It's not a problem, but as for 4* hotel it was an unpleasant surprise.
