Reviews for Las Brisas Huatulco
Review 1:Our room was dirty. With dirty glasses and the air conditioning was not working 100% Food sucks.
Review 2:Excelente location and hotel amenities. We enjoyed the beaches.
Review 3:Someone tried to break into our room at 10:45pm at night while we were in bed. They had a key and walked in without announcing themselves and did not apologize when confronted. Management apologized and said it was turn down service. There was no turn down service the night before and friends who have stayed there stated they also did not receive turn down service; certainly not at 1045pm.
Review 4:The view
Review 5:Their were no elevators and lots of steps to climb to get around the lobby and restaurants. Not good if you have mobility issues...
Review 6:The staff and service were beyond excellent !! The breakfast buffet had many good choices but found the customized omelette my favorite!! The proximity to La Crucecita was an added benefit. Their day excursions were reasonably priced and well executed by great tour providers.
Review 7:Distance between room and beach/restaurants. Quality and price of food in restaurants. Price of drinks. Too geared toward "all inclusive" US and Canadian package tourists. Hotel's private beaches too small. Camino Real across the bay looks much better, for the same money.
Review 8:OK for a long weekend.
Review 9:La comida del room service terrible
Review 10:Even though staff was friendly, the service was horrible. Facilities looked run-down. One of the worst managed hotels I have ever stayed at.
Review 11:Location
Review 12:We paid for 7 nights, but second day we move to another hotel(Dreams Huatulco). Same price and big big difference. We were 14 in this family, we have 4 rooms. Las brisas food was terrible. The rooms were ungly and dirty!!!
Review 13:That the hotel refound our money of the 6 days left!!
Review 14:place needs a facelift....
Review 15:beach. beach. snorkle beach location. suite balcony view. food.variety of restaurants. not many people. fresh air. beautyfull birds. trees. cactus garden.nature walks. stars at nite. staff went out of way to help.
Review 16:Food was absolutely terrible. Was dying to come home. It's also a bit of a pain if you are in a room miles away from the main buildings too and some rooms better than others - I changed but first room was like dungeon and smelled very damp. Super cheesy loud, tacky Spanish bingo going on in main areas all the time which isn't relaxing and made you want to avoid.
Review 17:The beaches are good
Review 18:It is a very old 3 stars hotel needs a revamp. Worst thing was the food as we traveled to such a good country for food and had mediocre buffet and a la carte service on all meals. I regret on getting the all inclusive when I couldn't finish any dish as they were all very bland.
Review 19:Beach area and size of the rooms were good. Bathrooms seemed recently revamped and were good as well. Nice effort on keeping landscaping and all facilities working and having the little carts to take us around as the place is huge and rooms can be quite distant from the leisure areas.
Review 20:Access to food during hours other than typical breakfast lunch and dinner. No room service menu in the room.
Review 21:The location was beautiful and the staff were very friendly
Review 22:Terrible service, bad smell in the room, not taking care of the rooms and facilities in general.. The service at the restaurants it's thwpe worst I've ever expeinced, they are taking forever to serve you.. Reception service is also terrible, they don't explain you the "rules" of the "all inclusive " (like the reservation you have to make for dining in th restaurants..
Review 23:bed was a bit too firm for my liking but others said they liked the bed ,so preference. There was a slight language barrier sometimes but they usually went and got someone that spoke the language better and then it was all good.
Review 24:I liked everything about this resort there was a lot to do, well laid out. Something for everyone lots of stairs but everywhere was wheel chair accessible and if you didn't want to do the stairs then they would take you anywhere you wanted to go . I have been to a lot of resorts and this one is by far my favorite. Also this part of Mexico is the best place that I have been. Better than Cancun and PuertoVallarta. Great place for all age groups the staff were very friendly and accomadating
Review 25:In general hotel is in very good conditions, I had a great stay, wish I colud have stayed longer :)
Review 26:The beaches are tranquile and clean, great place for relaxing in a natural environment, food is ok, staff very attentive and fun activities.
Review 27:- The Lack of Wi-Fi in various Areas - Inconsistency in Room Clean-up based on tips - Blackout Times in Food Availability - Lack of English speaking Front-Desk Staff
Review 28:- The Views - The Beaches - The Closeness to Town
Review 29:Reception was very inefficient. First impressions are that the resort is very spread out and that it is inconvenient to have to wait for a buggy to go around. However it is not a problem once you get used to the layout
Review 30:Great setting and beaches. Generally good food and service and excellent facilities. Much nicer than the Cancun region.
Review 31:The structure is a labyrinth, you easily get lost before getting to yourroom if you decided to go on feet. Personell very slow. Breakfast was at7am, but the cookers were not available, they appeared after half anhour! The restaurants are just decent, not impressive.
Review 32:Location is good, rooms are clean.
Review 33:Maybe to change type of cars for eco friendly...
Review 34:Position of hotel is the best of all hotels arounds. If you have young children they will enjoy protected bays. Wonderfull for active vaccations.
Review 35:i need a golf car to get everywhere :(
Review 36:Lovely. I am going back again!
Review 37:Rooms start to be a bit old.
Review 38:Fantastic place and staff, good food. I will come back.
Review 39:People at the reception desk Buffets and the Pescador restaurant
