Reviews for Casa Vacanze Streda Belvedere
Review 1:When you think of a villa in Tuscany, you think expensive, but this was really good value for money. We have 3 kids 10 - 15 years, and in off season, it was very private. The views are unrivalled. The pool has an unbelievable view - worthy of you just relaxing next to it, if you don't swim. Vinci, the village nearest, is absolutely beautiful - a hidden gem. We stayed to visit Florence, and it was really easy. Drive a short 10 mins to a village train station (safe parking 4 euro per day), and take the train half an hour leisurely commuting into the heart of Florence. I am recommending this accommodation to family as well :)
Review 2:washing machine simply not availible. always occupied by 10+ family for only one machine. room was not cleaned. no sound insulation. you just hear everything from your neighbours! no wifi at all in the room.
Review 3:view, location, garden. just stunning!
Review 4:staff not extremely friendly. we arrived around midnight, we tried to get in contact with them few hours earlier to inform but they didn't pick up the phone. we found out afterwards that the office is open till 8:00pm (it is not written anywhere in booking). the mobile number is written on the door outside the office so we called when we arrived there and finally after several calls we got someone on the phone to help us get in our room. also, we asked for the towels to use at the pool, they gave to us and we found out at the checkout that we had to pay 9€ each: not fair! breakfast is not possible, you have to do yourself and go to the village.
Review 5:location is nice, in the middle of nowhere, really peaceful and relaxing. nice view of the landscape around. nice pool.
Review 6:Great location - fantastic access to other tuscan towns like Pisa and Florence. The hosts / staffs there are amazing. All very willing to help. In general we had an excellent time.
Review 7:Nothing to dislike for me! Recommend having a car to get around, probably not the best roads to walk on to get buses etc
Review 8:Quiet location with great views in nearly every direction
Review 9:the wifi connection is OK, but the signal is not that good.....not the most important thinkg ofcourse. Outside on the terrace the signal was perfect.

Review 17:location on the top of the hill, cofee
Review 18:Not really equipped for self catering- no oven / microwave etc. Mosquitos.
Review 19:Location Claudio Pizza Oven Pool Wine!
Review 20:Nothing!
Review 21:Nice place with great views. Has pool and playground (Too bad we couldn't enjoy due to weather conditions). We took the family deluxe room and it was very comfortable. Available washing machine and dryer available for free use.
Review 22:Lack of kitchen cupboards to put food, and a lack of utensils etc. we didn't have teaspoons nor scissors and some other basics (this was a self catering apartment after all)
Review 23:Location, location, location. Owner was very nice and helpful. Room was clean with nice furniture. Views from the room were outstanding
Review 24:The gravel road up to Streda Belvedere needs a filling... Cleaning twice a week would have been appreciated (was once a week).
Review 25:We (51, 49, 17, 14 and 12 years old) were looking for a nice place in between remarkable sights. Thus Vinci turned out to be the perfect spot to start tours to Florence (by train in 30 min), Pisa, Lucca, Montecatini Terme, Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti region. We got everything there to meet our needs, excellent restaurants and the great museums focussing on Leonardo. Streda Belvedere is an extremely nice place located in vineyards, olive groves and offers amazing views of the beautiful countryside. We also loved Claudio´s variety of wines...We lived in three cozy apartments equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle and savoured tuscan specialities. Great place, great holidays!
Review 26:The bus service that runs from Empoli is difficult to predict. The closest place to get food is Vinci, which is about a 30 min walk. If you're planning to leave the property more than once (to stock up on groceries in order to cook your own meals), I'd recommend having a vehicle as taxi fares do add up (about 25 Euros for a one way trip to Empoli)
Review 27:I'm a solo traveler who was looking to relax and unwind and this place was exactly what the doctor ordered. The property has amazing views of the countryside; the apartment suites are spacious and come with a well equipped kitchen. It's about 1 km away from a quaint little town called Vinci where you can go stock up on groceries. Really really positive experience!
Review 28:Everything was perfect
Review 29:The place is amaizing, the views the calm....also Claudio helped us in all we needed. Perfect for relax.
Review 30:signage on the street could be improved.
Review 31:The area, the facilities, the friendly atmosphere, the relative cost.
