The room was beautiful and the view was refreshing. I left my pillow behind and they were kind enough to mail it back.

Review 8：Our one week stay at the turn of June and July in Apartments Sol e Nef was very pleasant. Our modern/alpine style room on the 3rd floor was beautiful and functional with essential equipment. We really loved the room. The bed was very comfortable, which we did appreciate after our long hiking trips on the slopes of Dolomites. Our friendly hosts, Margherita and Carlo, gave us good advice concerning the hiking paths and places worth to visit on the area nearby. We had a rental car, so attractions and hiking areas were easy to reach. The free WiFi worked reliably. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Easily reachable is Marmolada, which is connected to Arabba and the Sella Ronda, on the other side about 10 km away is Alleghe with the ski resort Civeta. The ski bus has a stop right in front of the house. Spacious and well-furnished modern apartments with kitchenette. On request, fresh bread in the morning. Room for storing skis and ski boots, free parking next to the house.

The Service and care here isfirst class! 5 Stars to sol e nef!! Highly recommended! Sottoguda is aplace that should not be overlooked, it is a charming village, and sol enef is the best location!

Review 28：The hospitality of the owners is great; we appreciated all the tips they provided to us regarding trips and hiking tours; the free bicycle rental is a big benefit. The apartments are very nice decorated, comfortable and clean; we found everything needed to prepare small dinner. The village is small and great for people which like to relax in a quiet place, surrounded by nice mountain views. The WiFi worked well, no issues at all, we highly recommend the place. (the close pizzeria is very good, the best pizza we had in Italy).

Review 50：This is a great hotel for accessing the nearby Marmolada and Alleghe ski lifts. The hotel provided us with free bus passes to take us the two kilometers up to the Malga Ciapela lifts. The hotel has a room downstairs with lockers to store skis/boards, poles, and boots. So you just suit up in the morning, hop on the bus, and you are skiing. When you return, you just leave the wet gear in the ski room downstairs and take and elevator up to your room. The staff were all exceedingly friendly and helpful in identifying which ski lifts were running. The managers speak good English. Also, our apartment had a kitchen and was stocked with plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc. There are a couple of good ristorantes in walking distance. Overall,

Review 58：Other reviews captured the details about what we can say about Sol eNuf. We add the following. The Serrai hike upstream is magnificent --S&N provides a tourist card so you don't have to pay theentrance fee. But don't stop there if you have the energy. Take thehiking trail that starts at the top of the Serrai (btw -- you can driveto this spot and proceed onward). It will take you past a camp site, afarm where you buy cheeses from cows that graze these meadows, and thento the southern face of the Marmolada. A vigorous climb but worth iteven though you don't go the distance -- we went about one-third ofthe way because we did not sturdy enough shoes and it was getting dark.Also, don't miss hiking downstream to the other villages in thevalley (unfortunately, you'll have to hike back upstream or catch abus). Try the La Tirolese pizzeria/ristorante located about 200meters upstream from Sol e Nuf -- pizza to spaetzle. We stayed for threenights and could have easily nestled in for more. Thank you Margueriteand Carlos for a relaxing and awe inspiring time (we crossed PassoFedaia during a snow storm -- 24 June).
