Review 1：Our family of 4 were incorrectly booked into an apartment for 2 adults, and both our teenage children had to sleep together on a pull out sofa bed with not enough pillows or seating. It seems from the guest book that this situation may have happened before. Staff said there was nothing that could be done but did say she would check with "accounts" if we could get a refund if we found alternative accommodation. We never heard back from her and it was intimated we did not know how to book properly. It was stated to us that it was advertised as a 1 bedroom apartment so therefore we should have known it was for 2 people. We had to sleep with the door open as the apartment is so small with so many people in it and no fan provided, it was simply totally uncomfortable. However for a couple this apartment would be very nice.

Review 3：1. Would not have chosen a converted garage if I had realised that was the case 2. Mattress on bed was extremely uncomfortable (very hard, poor springs, sides collapsed, any movement from other person no matter how slight shook the whole bed) 3. Was not able to access channels on TV (despite following instructions in book)

Review 5：Good location, ambience and quietness. Very well decorated, very comfortable with everything that you could possibly require. Arrival & departure instructions were very clear & allowed for checking in @ your own convenience. It was a shame that we couldn't stay longer!

Review 10：A very well appointed apartment with all the conveniences of home. A central location in town with 3 pubs, many cafes, bakery, shops and supermarkets nearby. Very comfortable!

Review 11：It's a shame it didn't have an oven. I think an oven would be more of benefit than a dishwasher. The drunks walking home on the Sat night woke us up but that was only a minor thing, we went straight back to sleep and that's what you get being in such a handy location.

Review 25：We were given an email after confirmation of our booking, which stated that the room would get a mini clean of our apartment, and that it would be done approx 11:00 am. We went out for the most of the day, only to come back to the pile of wet towels on the bathroom floor, and the rubbish bin still full. I left a note for them when we left, expecting them to contact me about it, but nothing. The couches were rather short on comfort and rather slippery/slidey when sitting on them. The remote instructions for the TV were good, except for the fact that it was not noted what channel the TV was on - took us about half an hour to figure that out.

Our apartment was not cleaned or refreshed (no new towels or toiletries, bed not made etc) once during out stay, which we found odd. There was no oven or laundry facilities, which we would have expected for this type of accommodation at this price.

Review 36：The apartment was very nicely decorated and furnished. The toiletries were locally produced which was a nice touch. The bed was comfy and electric blankets were great. There was plenty of parking next to the apartment on its own driveway.

Review 53：Our booking was for one night - a Sunday night. We had been givendirections to the office and a check in time of 2pm to 5pm. We hurriedthrough our trip to make sure we arrived by 4pm, only to find that theoffice was closed already! A note on one door said "Suzy isavailable on mobile & gave the number" I rang this number toget a recorded message saying she was not available. A call to thelandline gave a recorded message saying they would be available onMonday morning! (Please note these calls had to be made using myoverseas phone & working out the correct prefix codes was a trialin itself, not to mention all the costs for an overseas phone!)We'd decided we'd wait till 5pm & then have to look foralternative accommodation - despite already paying for it!! Over halfan hour later a car finally arrives at the office & the lady whogot out started verbally abusing me immediately, angrily saying"This is not a 24 hour service", "I do have a life youknow" "I sent you an email with all the details for lettingyourself into the unit" (we had not received such an email). Wewere left feeling totally helpless and abused - not a good start to anevening in a beautiful place that we had looked forward to visiting fora very long time.

Review 55：There is a real lack of storage facilities here. A coat stand with 4 hangers and a glass topped table aren't much use when you are travelling around NZ with 2 large suitcases. Somewhere for your toiletries would also be useful in the shower.

Review 56：First class facilities in a small but stylish and sophisticated apartment. A lot of effort had gone in to make the apartment look classy. Kitchen facilities were excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were excellent.

Review 65：It is time to change the folding bed in the lounge, it was terrible to sleep on it. Springs are far too old to use any longer, not even for 1 night! The apartment isn't capable for 4 adults, and it's not fair to pay that much money! Two people could sleep very well but another two.....????!!!!

Review 66：The bed was tent shaped and very uncomfortable, probably from prople sitting on the edges to watch telly. The fold out couch was not suitable for to children to narrow. The facility should ideally only cater for 3 people.

Review 74：I was suprised to find no shampoos or body cleanser at the place except a soap. Good that I had took mine from home just in case. Also would have been good if the T.V was able to be watched in bedroom, not only where the dining table is.. :( They had sofa that turns in to bed, but it was just too much of a hassle having to move the heavy table away and moving "heavier" sofa bed across the living room so we could watch the T.V in bed. It was surely a labour. Also when using the pots provided, I had to wash it once more, as it had tiny little bits of left over food, or whatever else it was, stuck in it which wasn't pleasing to see.

Review 75：It was very clean and tidy. The private car park and private enterance made us feel very welcome and special. When we stepped in to the place, we were amazed with how the place was so modern and tidy. They had DVD's and books and etc ready in the place for us to freely watch and read (The good ones too) and We really enjoyed them. The bed in bedroom was very comfortable and tidy too. The bathroom had underfloor heating, keeping our feet warm even during the night. The kitchen was fabulous, it was clean, it had all the things we needed to have dinner at the place. It was such a wonderful place to have a night at.

You couldn't be anymore central for wandering around the town or using it as a base to explore the wider area. Our only regret was cancelling a night before our arrival, would loved to have stayed longer.

Review 86：What a lucky find. I needed accomodation near beautiful Wyuna Bay and chose The Studio at Coromandel Apartments based on a review on booking.com. I was not disappointed. It is so beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean, has an outdoor deck with table and benches, and a good yard. It's a short walk into Coromandel Town with its historic buildings and great cafes. They catered for my late arrival with absolutely no problems and suggested local sights like the amazing Driving Creek Railway.

Review 87：The sofa bed was uncomfortable with springs sticky in my 12 years boy. A new memory foam overlay would sort that out. Also No duvet cover for the spare either?

The shower was incredible (could have stayed in there all day) and a spacious car park all to ourselves. There was also an outside deck to enjoy the late arvo sunshine.
