Review 1：There is a problem with a late check in .Some Ryanair fights don't arrive at Pisa airport until 19.30 - 20.00 which means that you don't arrive at Antica Pieve until almost 22.00 .Reception is open until 18.30.

Review 3：We very much enjoyed our stay at Antica Pieve B and B. Filipo was a wonderful host and very helpful in giving us advice on transportation and parking in Florence, as well as restaurant recommendations. The property is well maintained and a relaxing and beautiful spot. The owner of the restaurant Borgo Antica, Katia, is a gem. Her food is fantastic and she is so much fun to be around. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We will return!!

Review 6：A family run small hotel (6 units) with a kind and heartily attitude to guests. Located at the out skirts of a small and quiet town. A very large fenced yard with a lawn, garden, swimming pool, tables and shades. Shaded parking. The building includes a nice and well furnished hall. Room includes all modern facilities, tended daily to cleanliness as the rest of the establishment. In house restaurant that serves high quality local dishes at reasonable prices. I didn't use the free WiFi.

Review 12：The swimming pool, gardens and secure, onsite parking were wonderful. The owner was hospitable and helpful and the restaurant was superb, offering a fabulous choice of beautifully-cooked and presented dishes. Great value too. We wanted to visit both Siena and Florence and the location was perfect for this.

Review 15：The staff were great with fun playful attitudes. The rooms were clean, good size and comfortable.

Review 16：The bathroom had a stench of old urine, covered by strawberry airfreshener.The advertised free Wi-Fi worked sporadically as did the Internet connection itself. (there were apparently problems with Telecom Italia all over the region of our stay). Wi-Fi connection at this place uses a weird account-based system that requires you to log-in each time you try to use the computer / smartphone after an idle time. However, login takes long minutes and sometime fails without explanation. We complained to the owner but he didn't seem to care. There's also a restaurant at the location named Borgo Antico, which serves fairly-priced but generally bad Tuscan food. I would recommend to avoid it. Note that Tavarnelle is not optimally placed for trips neither at the Chianti Classico region (30 minute drive to both Castellina and Greve) nor the San Miniato region (over an hour's drive in mountainous roads).

Review 17：The village is surrounded by vineyard and olive trees, which makes forbeautiful scenery at sunrise and sundown. The house and the room wereconvenient and nice-looking.

Review 23：Very nice B&B with a very good restaurant, lovely owner Filippo and great enthousiastic personel. Perfect breakfast (thank you Katia!) and the food served in the restaurant is delicious. We had a great week in Antica Pieve: a typical tuscan room with gardenview in a nice environment with a swimming pool and private parking. Tavarnelle is a good starting point for trips to all the cities in Tuscany.

Review 25：The only downside is that it's next to a main road, and there was not much of a view. However the compound is lovely and makes up for it.

Review 26：Lovely grounds.The rooms were comfortable, and it's location was perfect to drive into San Gimignano, Volterra and Chianti. Do try the restaurant - the hostess is so gregarious & the food amazing! .

Review 28：We stayed 2 nights as we were attending a wedding. A number of otherwedding guests were also staying which meant that we were may have feltmore like a group of 10. Nevertheless: 2 things strike out: 1 thewarmth, friendliness and flexibility of Phillipo and his team,especially at breakfast and allowing us to use the pool etc after we hadchecked out. 2 the lemon pasta...just the right balance of not toosharp, sour, sweet or creamy

Review 29：It was a lovely place to stay, in the country side in a small quainttown....Phillipo and his wife there were very friendly and helpfuland offered to drive us to some places we needed to go. They werevery accomodating...the room was lovely, spacious and clean andperfect for what we were looking for...and good value formoney...also the gardens are beautifully kept and generally overallwe were very happy with our choice!

Review 30：Great location. We ('young' couple) had a fantastic 3 day tour of Tuscany, mainly in Chianti and Val D'Orcia, during last days of April 2012. We found Antica Pieve B&B ideal place to stay and starting point for exploration of this part of Tuscany. Lady, who joined Antica Pieve B&B team short time ago, was very friendly and helpfull, especially when she helped us using her experience as tourist operator to define the best itinerary for our daily tour. Spending all our time from morning to evening around visiting cities, villages and splendid nature we found the breakfast very good and we were not hungry till late afternoon (ok, we stopped for just few beers before). Review 31：Just 1 little thing: our room was a bit noisy because of the main road that passes just beside the hotel. I put in my earplugs at night and slept very well.
