Villa Dianella sells fast on our site. Stay in the Medici’s 16th-century hunting lodge, Villa Dianella Fucini, now a bed and breakfast set surrounded by hectares of cultivated olive groves and vineyards, a 10 minute drive from Empoli.
Called Dianella after the Roman goddess of the hunt and Fucini after the famous Italian poet who wrote much of his work here, the Villa has beautiful green grounds and beautiful views of the Tuscan hills.
With just 4 rooms and owners who live on site, you are sure to enjoy personal service at Villa Dianella Fucini. Rooms are spacious, with charming antique furnishings and modern amenities including internet access. Suites come with their own living room.
You can enjoy Italian culture without even leaving Villa Dianella’s estate. Visit Renato Fucini’s tomb in the estate’s small chapel or enjoy a guided wine and oil-tasting tour of the wine cellars located on site. Cooking courses can also be organized.

Reviews for Villa Dianella

Review 1:The staff were wonderful and the place very serene. We used it for an overnight stop on a road trip but I would love to come back and use it as a base to explore Florence, Siena, Lucca etc.

Review 2:We were blown away by Villa Dianella. The staff, room, location, it was all amazing. We were on our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a better location. Take the private cooking class, its amazing. Definitely rent a car if you are staying here.

Review 3:The pictures posted do not give the idea of how much old and horrid is the furniture. I really do not recommend the place if you want to spend a night there. Don't book this B&B if you are looking for a romantic night: webs and dust everywhere.

Review 4:My husband and I were referred to stay at Villa Dianella while touringthrough Europe. We had the most amazing three days there. The propertyand view is pristine and the wineries and villages nearby areincredible. I will undoubtedly be back!

Review 5:We only had three nights here, and would love to have had more time, to stay longer!

Review 6:This is a lovely place for a romantic stay or a wedding for that matter. The villa is close to Empoli's industrial outskirts, but feels like it is lost in the countryside. It is also close to Vinci by back roads, so there are things to explore on the slopes of Mont'Albano such as Leonardo da Vinci's reputed birthplace. Altogether we had a charming stay with warm people who made us feel at home.

Review 7:Low hum from nearby factory, even through the night.

Review 8:Wonderful location- very beautifull and tastefully presented bedrooms. Comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Being able to enjoy the wonderful surroundings in peace and tranquility.

Review 9:Extremely large room in a beautiful old building. Great friendly staff and the wine is pretty good too.

Review 10:Would have been nice to have a hot breakfast. Very cold rooms.

Review 11:Great room

Review 12:Worst stay - everything worked out very very poor...

Review 13:Nothing was positive

Review 14:When we arrived at the hotel there were organized weddings. They told us that the room is on the other side of the building than weddings. Music does not belong there. Music and yell finish at 2:30 am.We slept for a few hours.Breakfast was poor and next to the factory smelling.I had to ask for a refund for night. They not have Internet connection at rooms

Review 15:website, they not have Internet connection at rooms

Review 16:The villa was beautiful with stunning views and immaculate furnishings. The sort of storybook place you want to stay forever. The breakfast buffet in the garden was a nice touch and we enjoyed reading peacefully in the evening with a cup of tea in the downstairs lounge area. What a fabulous place, we will be back!

Review 17:Great B&B, our stay was perfect: wonderful big room, great breakfast, very friendly & helpful staff who gave us great reccommendations.
