Review 1：On the first day the pool area was very overgrown, and they decided to carry out the maintenance as soon as we sat out on a deck. The rooms were very basic, there was no hot water or electrical plugs - we resorted to unplugging the TV. It is not a place to chill out during the day, but it is a good place to rest your head after seeing the sights around including Sigiriya and Dambulla

Review 2：Nothing was too much trouble for our very smiley staff. From the moment we got there to the time we left we felt so welcome! The pool was cleaned daily and a large size. And although the choice of food wasn't extensive they did the traditional stuff well. Very generous portion sizes! The manager wanted to help organise any trip we wanted including an Elephant safari and suggested places to go. He also checked up to see how we were casually twice daily. There was a fridge in the room which was great for keeping water etc, however they weren't licensed to sell alcohol, so you had to purchase before hand - to make clear, the manager did let us know this almost instaniosly. We went to the lake (see pic) and it was so beautiful at sunset. The staff were very proud of the service they gave! Well done :)

Review 3：Prassana, the Manager couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his staff. They are all extremely friendly and the meals are wonderful too. My Boys, ages 9 & 11, kept commenting all through our 4 day stay, how nice everyone was. They enjoyed the pool too! This was our favourite accommodation so far in Sri Lanka! Highly recommend Asnara Village!!

Review 5：Great place to visit Culture Triangle - close to all main atractions. Clean rooms, hot water, great pool! Manager and his crew are wonderfull. Very friendly and helpfull. They can arrange safari in great price. Food is amazing here. Breakfast are huge and really, really tasty. They also serve great dinners!!!

Review 9：Staff were very helpful, they organised a lot of tours for us at good rates. Room was large and we liked having the little terrace outside the room. Wi-fi didn't work in the room but was fine in the restaurant.

Review 10：The buildings and facilities are a bit outdated and have seen better days. but it felt like an appropriate launching pad for our safari adventure.

Review 11：We spent two nights here and were happy with the experience. It was very nice having a pool - it was also pretty clean. Great way to relax in between seeing the local sights. Our room was very big, and comfortable. Bed was good. Sheets were clean. A/C and fan worked well. The staff were really helpful, with a free pick-up from the bus stop. They helped arrange our journeys to Minnerya and Sigirya. We had a wonderful safari experience with their driver (and we ended up pulling three other jeeps out of the mud on the way back to the park entrance.)

Review 12：Airconditioning are not the same in all rooms. First night our AC did not work very well. We could move the next day to another room with good AC.

Review 16：The staff was very friendly, the manager helped us book our trips for good prices. The restaurant was very Nice, good food. Actually it was Just an ok place, but because it is one big garden there are lots of insects. The staff try to keep bugs out of the room, but they always their way in;). Furtheron the room is quite outdated, poor bathroom. The pool is Nice, but you miss good sunbeds to relax on. We did lots of trips from this place, perfect location.

Review 19：The stuff is very nice and help you a lot. The manager made us also a very good price to bring us with his Safari Jeep to Negombo. The rooms are very good, clean and you don't need a mosquito net over your bed. The breakfast is also very good. I must say that we stayed here during the off-season, so there were no other tourists. All the pool was for us and the area was very quiet. I would come back again

Review 20：Yes, a few bugs around outside, but this property is in the countryside, so expect a few bugs. Rooms provided mozzie zappers, so slept well.

Review 21：Staff went out of their way to help. Spacious room, hot water, fair price. Lovely pool . The Village was very quite when we were there, slept well and di not hear any noise other than the cheeky little monkeys on the roof!

Review 22：Lovely pool! The manager and all the staff are lovely and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is extremely enjoyable! They will help with anything and helped sort out our holiday problems. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Stay here for Sigiriya!!!
