Review 1：The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the owners were so friendly and the rooms were simple but lovely and bed very comfortable with crisp white cotton sheets and great air-conditioning. Big bonus for me were the jazz guitarists - real Django Reinhardt and so unexpected.

Review 3：It is more of a colonial estate with chalets for accommodation. Laid back life with close by sight-seeings like Point D'Esny, Blue Bay, Biscuit Factory & Mahebourg market. You need to hire a car or scooter to go to these places and the hotel provides you the contact. Food was lovely and one of the best in Mahebourg. The airport is 15 mins away. Rajeshri & Sarika helped us a lot, thanks to them. The estate is virtually a sanctuary with exotic trees.

Review 6：We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to find the pool area and the limited number of sunbeds occupied by non residents, adults and a lot of children - think they had stayed on after a leisurely Sunday lunch in the restaurant to use the facilities - probably wouldn't be a problem in a week day. Didn't appreciate being greeted by an aggressive small dog on arrival with no control of it by the staff!

Review 8：We experienced Le Jardin de Beau Vallon as a peaceful, relaxing oasis, which invites a stay, inmidst a georgeous garden/park with wonderful exotic trees (paradise for many species of colourful Mauritian birds), an inviting swimming pool (even though the whole little complex is close to the highway and only three km from the airport); the nice town Mahebourg and the dream beach Blue Bay can be reached by foot (15 - to 20 minutes away). We were offered two tastefully decorated, lightflooded, wooden (Balinese style, each different) bungalows - very functionally equipped with a little coffee bar (instant coffee etc. provided) , a water cooker, a fridge - pleasant comfort. Breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice, Crepes and fresh Baguette included in the price. The Jardin de Beauvallon also offers (tasty) lunch and dinner, served in a pleasant environment (jazz music background and original old furniture). Female host and stuff were friendly and competent. We felt allround pleased and can only recommentd this address. Good price-value relationship!

Review 12：The room is a little tight and has no television. I couldn't get internet connection, but it was ok, since I only stayed for one night. I would like it more if guest rooms were inside the plantation house, so I could get more of the historical feel. Breakfast was very simple: bread, yogurt and a glass of juice. I need protein and don't like a lot of bread. The waitress was very nice to give me a fried egg for free.

Review 13：Beautiful garden, swimming pool and patio area. The plantation house is converted into a very nice restaurant that serves excellent local cuisine and drinks. Staff were friendly and quick to respond.

Quiet, secluded garden, beautiful 18th century house, delicious food and most importantly, heart-warming and helpful staff made our emergency stay a memorable time in Mauritius. If you are looking for some place close to the airport, this is it.

Review 19：It was a beautiful bangalow.. way better than what I expectied. It's pretty pricy (of course for tourists) but it does not matter when I had a great time. Everything was clean and relatively new but since it's like a jungle.... lazard and flies come into your romm.. this is my personal hate to them and not a problem with this place. (They are everywhere)

Review 21：We booked only because we had an early flight next morning, expecting just a convenient location with no facilities but were amazed to find ourselves in a gorgeous wooden chalet, and were served an extremely good meal. I'd be very happy to use the hotel again for a holiday venue. Also despite proximity to the airport we heard no noise although we did arrive at around 7pm and departed 7am.
