Hotel Aurora sells fast on our site. Family-run Hotel Aurora is in the heart of the spa town of Merano. Set on the river's promenade, opposite the thermal baths, it offers a restaurant serving regional, national and international cuisine.
Rooms offer either a vintage ambiance or a design style. All come with air-conditioning, a minibar, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer.
Upon request and at extra costs, staff can provide a shuttle service to/from the airports of Bolzano, Verona, Bergamo, Milan, Venice, Treviso, Innsbruck and Munich.
A 5-minute drive takes you to the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.

Review 1：Although very well built and maintained, I think some things should be a bit more practical than decorative (shower for example...)

Review 2：Fantastic location and very friendly staff. A very modern and stylish hotel. Don't forget to try all of the lights options, your'e in to a nice surprise. If you go to the thermal springs, you will get a bag with towels. Breakfast was good.

Review 3：The hotel has old windows, the light of the room were out of order and the bed was a bit hard with too soft pillows.

Review 5：Arrival and parking can be a bit tricky. The main entry is from an alley on the "back side" of the hotel which fits only one car at a time. But we made it work! Parking is just across the river in a public garage but not hard.

Review 6：The hotel is trendy and modern in its décor. We stayed only one night while on-the-road. Our room was very comfortable looking out from the front of the hotel. We had dinner outside on the patio in front. Very comfortable and excellent service. Breakfast inside was good.

Review 8：Best situated in the heart of merano. Everything topped the expectation. Friendliness, a breakfast buffet that will be reminded, nicely styled rooms. Can't ask for more. It's good and not just a good value for the money.

Review 9：The procedure for parking for check-in and unloading bags and overnight parking is somewhat tedious. Also, there is no receptionist for check out procedures until 8:00 am and we really needed to leave prior to that time.

Breakfast was very nice (wide selection). Cleanliness of the room could be better (quite a lot of dust in the room), but otherwise great choice!

Review 22：My girlfriend and me spent a long weekend in the middle of March in Merano. We reached by foot the hotel from the train station. From the balcony of our hotel room we had a view on the Passirio as well as the thermal complex. Brekfast was great and cocktail evening in the hotel as well. Staff is making you comfortable.

Review 32：The friendly staff has educated advice on everything, be it the best multi-day mountain treks or visits to local vineries. We stored our extra bags in the hotel when we went to the mountains, we did not even have to carry the bags to the lobby ourselves. The decoration is a bit funky, and on the lovely breakfast you can press your own orange juice. Great old-world service!
