Review 11：Very narrow steep steps to access the penthouse. You do need to be able bodied. Also important to know that it is a very open balcony - I wouldn't stay with very young children. A bit of care and responsibility needed. Should also know that building work going on at back of hotel at the moment. Started about 7.30am but good double glazing.
Review 12：Stayed in top floor penthouse. Stayed as stop over on way home from a camping holiday. Very welcome comfy beds and loads of space. And wow the views were amazing. Arrived on a very busy Sunday with market on so quite hard to access property but once found lovely manager with excellent and appreciated good English sorted out our parking. Spent a very relaxing evening on the balcony watching the ships go by. Highly recommend

Review 40：This was our second visit to this hotel and we love it. Be sure to book a room with a balcony to watch the huge ships pass by! The restaurant is gourmet.

Review 42：Very friendly and helpful owner and staff, took time out for a chat about the area which was helpful. Evening meal was of a very high standard and beautifully presented. Room (no 1) has a great enclosed balcony with a large sliding window for plenty of that sea air, and the view of the shipping going in and out of Antwerpen was I found very relaxing. Will be returning.
Review 43：An alarm rang at 5h45 a.m., very loud. It was coming from the restaurant part of the hotel, downstairs. No one could stop it during 15 minutes even after our call (no english nor german speaker to pick up). We went out through the front door (ok, thanksto this we could assess the width of the tide in Vlissingen...) Then it stopped. No fire, no explanation. We guess that employees of the hotel were starting their day with a cigarette. After breakfast and such a bad night, we were taking some rest but were chased out from the room with knocking at our door at 11 am. And at check out, nobody was aware of this night alarm. So, globally bad experience. But even without that alarm story, the price looks somehow exagerated to us.

Review 49：The welcome we got when we arrived was terrible - it was name then the man who asked this disappeared and then reappeared with a key saying your in room 1, up there, and that was it. We ever did find out who the owners were or interacted with any other member of staff. The room had two single beds pushed together and there was approximately a couple of inches either side of the bed from each wall you had difficulty accessing the bed.

Review 63：We stayed in room 4 and you can hear people walking from the room above you or in this case running for hours. There is no elevator, so if walking is a problem, this isn't the right hotel for you. The doors aren't easy to open or close ( mainly the bathroom door), so people who are rheumatic might have a problem with that.

Therestaurant served a terrific breakfast, the waitstaff was excellent, andthe owner was very helpful and informative. We dined both evenings inthe hotel restaurant and the food was delicious. Excellent wineselections also. We also appreciated the courtesy free parking pass!
