Reviews for Hotel Residence Flora
Review 1:Unfortunatly there's no secure parking so motorcycles had to be left on the road. A good location meant the risk was minimal.
Review 2:Ideal location that meant you could walk into the old town within five minutes and make max use of time for a short stay. Rooms where immaculate, linen top notch, staff friendly and helpful and breakfast well above average, as was wifi. I really think this was a good find and certainly worth over a 9.
Review 3:The quality of lighting for reading is poor; Cleaning of the rooms only once every 7 days??? It got quite dusty ..., the tablecloth quite dirty!
Review 4:excellent location, helpful and cheerful front desk, comfort of beds and the balcony.
Review 5:Wifi did not work on our floor. Neither did the jacuzzi on the roof top. Surrounded by 1-way street sections, tough to get to. Once you are there its a great location right on the river promenade.
Review 6:Gorgeous setting & location. Friendly staff. Opulent breakfast. Beautiful pool.
Review 7:The only experience was the wifi didn't work very well in the rooms and no air conditioning.
Review 8:The staff was very courteous and helpful. Excellent location with many amenities.
Review 9:Beds very hard and uncomfortable. Reception confusing. Discount offered for the spa was rather pitiful.
Review 10:Conveniently located and easy access to the town by foot.
Review 11:The wifi in the rooms didn't work. There isn't a strongbox in the rooms, so you have to use that one in the reception. Not so comfortable bed.
Review 12:Excellent location (just 5 minutes far from the Thermae), very helpful staff, very clean
Review 13:Wifi was slow
Review 14:Nice breakfast selection. Nice walk to town along the river.
Review 15:No criticism!

Review 21:Stunning views from the balcony. Excellent location for the town
Review 22:It was wonderful revisiting Meran after 50 years...the town is beautiful, clean and welcoming. A real gem.
Review 23:The wi-fi access was spotty, at best. But, when you're in Merano, you really shouldn't be looking at a screen on a device, you should be marveling at the surroundings!
Review 24:We loved this hotel and the location couldn't have been better. What a beautiful spot, and you could walk everywhere. The staff was just delightful, the rooms quite comfortable, and the breakfast was good.
Review 25:While the room was clean and the bathroom in good condition, I think it is time to freshen the rooms and especially the hallways and lounge, which seemed dingy and dated. My only other complaint was the amount of chlorine in the hot tub, which actually made my eyes burn and water after just 2-3 minutes.
Review 26:The location was great, with a river & mountain view from our room and balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was generous with a good variety and the breakfast room had been updated.
Review 27:The roof terrasse closed already at 8 in the evening.
Review 28:location is great, close to the therme and the city centre. Our room (junior suite) was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Balcony was a nice bonus. Must be great at summer!
Review 29:Breakfast room was short-staffed. The one person there tried, but couldn't keep up with the throng of people at breakfast. Room was fine but a bit austere and could use some minor updating.
Review 30:Great value for the money. (This is probably it's strongest point.) Friendly staff Short walk to the terme. OK breakfast. Kitchen was available in room (if you wanted it.)
Review 31:The room was a bit old and we weren't allowed to use the fridge (withoutpaying €39 for cleaning costs)
Review 32:The staff were very friendly, helpful and nice! They made us felt verywelcome to their hotel and even went out of their way to help us get adiscount on the thermal pool tickets eventhough we already bought them.the breakfast lady was very nice as well and attended to the needs of every customer
Review 33:In the booking informations they say: Up to two children from 3 to 8years are charged eur 15 per night per person for extra beds. But wewere charged with eur 15 per night even that we didn't use any extra bedfor our 4 years old child. It's not fare. About the car parking; theyreally have 2 private parkings: one underground and one outside. For thelast one you have to leave the car keys at the reception.
Review 34:Excellent breakfast, good location. The room has a little kitchenette, but you have to pay an extra tax if you use it (for about 39 Euro).
Review 35:Just the pushing of two single beds together.
Review 36:The receptionist was wonderful at both check in and check out. Extremly helpful and welcoming which was great after a long drive. The breakfast was fantastic, great variety and again the staff member was friendly and welcoming even at the early hour.
