Review 1：The aircondition was somewhat noisy, and there was a dog barking frequently in a neighbouring house. The "hot" water was barely lukewarm.

Review 2：The place is near the airport and is conveniently located for the exploration of the southern part of Mauritius. The owners are a nice family, and the hotel is reasonably priced. Don't expect luxury, but it's clean, and all the necessary conveniences are provided. The breakfast is of the what you get is what you eat type, yet it'll provide you with all the necessary nutrients.

Review 3：The guesthouse is on a worn backstreet, with a noisy workshop next door. The guestrooms are ok, but the rest of the house is stuffed with things and not in good order. The owners live on the bottom floor and there it is rather messy. The place does not give a good impression and does not feel cosy. Our AC stopped working at daybreak and the room got stuffy and hot. I could not help but wonder if they have a system to turn it off, to save energy? The owner does not feel very welcoming, but rather grumpy. A smile would not cost much!

Review 4：This place had everything we needed, but in a very basic way. The things are there, but the standard of them are low. The price is low, but at a cost.

Review 5：The place may seemed a big chaotic in the beginning but then gradually I have started discovering how perfect it was. This is small family run guesthouse, rooms are decent with all amenities you can imagine (AC, fan, DVD player etc.) There is common area with books, DVDs and small kitchen. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxed travel and the breakfast is served at the roof terrace overlooking the city. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The place is located in the center of Mahebourg, on the side street. I stayed there just for 1 night but definitely recommend the place!

Review 6：The owner made a very early breakfast possible at 6am for me to catch my morning flight! And I was only there for one night, so not even with a big revenue for him. Great guy, warmhearted people!

Review 7：Originally wanted to stay at Holiday Inn, but the price of $150 per night didn't sit right with me. Saw this guest house - at $50/night it's a great alternative, basic, clean, feels like spending overnight with friends in Mauritius (local family owns the property). Great breakfast, especially the crepes prepared by grandma. Wifi/air cond worked great. Owner is taxi driver, got us to airport next morning reliably

Review 8：A nice breakfast on the terrace with a great view of Mahébourg and beyond. The owner is welcoming and friendly, and is happy to help you discover more of Mauritius from his taxi at a modest price. A good location in an interesting town.

Review 9：If you like adventure and would like discover Mauritius, than Tyvabro in Mahebourg is perfect starting point. Personal will arrange everything you want - motorbikes, trips around the island and so on. Tyvabro with all it´s personal is strongly recommended!
