Review 1：Upon arrival we did not get the room that we had ordered. Instead they fixed up a room and added another bed. So we were 3 adults and two children sharing one room. The fridge was dirty. Ants everywhere. Bathroom had sewage odours coming in.The shower was broken and and there was not enough water pressure.In the middle of the night power braker caught fire. Smoke filled the rooms. The management did not say anything to the customers or apologise the next day. Although we did not get the rooms we ordered and all the above happened during our stay we were still told to pay the full price of the rooms we had previously ordered. A very bad experience in all.

Review 2：Hotel Les Aigrettes cannot and must not be classified as a hotel. Poor service, untidy room, stained pillows and bed sheets, poor maintenance of rooms, staff with attitude and too pricey among many other faults. An overall very forgettable experience.

Review 5：The room was not clean, the paint was peeling off the wall and was just not well kept. The bathroom was the most uncleanliness I have ever seen. The breakfast area had ants and was rather poorly cleaned. A huge disappointment, we had to leave the hotel because it was inhabitable, we still had to pay for the 3 nights we had booked which is rather unfair.

Review 13：Centre of all tourist activities, enjoyed the trip to blue bay, bus stop just behing the hotel. People are very friendly, trying by all means to help. High speed tour just around the corner!

Review 14：Not well situated. Gloomy. I paid more than what i was supposed to pay via booking.com, so not very honest people. There were cockroaches, spiders, mosquitoes in the room which was in bad state! Bathroom with a shower which doesnt make you feel like having a shower. Taps broken! Towels not clean..

Review 16：firstly they did not honour booking.com reservation and tried to confirm what they spoke over phone and chaged me euro 45 instead of 35 and told for 35 euro it is non ac room whereas other passengers were staying in ac room for the same price and they also paased racial remarks for indian tourists breakfast is just for name sake and practically there is one person who is driver, cook and every thing I will never visit again

Review 18：Very quirky Indian & Creole blended guest house on edge of town close to water. Continental breakfast included. Clean, basic rooms. Mahebourg is fascinating and not your typical Mauritius. Friendly local people everywhere. A lot of cafes, shops, large market on Mondays, local fishermen, taxis etc. and humble honest working-class people. Found good restaurants, very very good value, fresh seafood. Close to Blue Bay for snorkelling and more tourist actvities. Transfer to airport only 15mins making it ideal for shorter stays or overnight stopover.
