Review 27：we arrived on the 30th Dec and left on the 3rd Jan 2015 for a festive break. The news years eve party was a huge success could not fault the arrangements, buffet was never ending with a great variety of dishes entertainment was 100% and we heard not a single complaint from other guests some guest have been going for 14 years and more to this festive week end with out a single year off . Staff went beyond the call of duty to make sure all guest were happy,- incredible hospitality for which the Dutch in the province zeeland are famous,- fantastic views over the river Schelde from our room, amazing sunsets, and so much more to see on the island of Walcheren :-)

Review 31：The room was lovely, and bed fabulous. It appeared to be two large twins together, however due to a comforter on top of the mattress there was no gap and it was lovely and soft. Room was very 'Zen' and a seating area in front of the great view as well as a balcony. I would definitely say book a sea view as the view from the back was not very interesting. Breakfast was superb with hot and cold buffet and plenty of choice. We ate dinner both nights and food and service was excellent with friendly staff. The terrace area was also heated with patio heaters.

Review 32：Parking from the hotel was small and needed booking but hotel can give parking card to park on the other side of the road in exchange of credit card. Doors from the stairs were not functioning because you had to open it with your room card, so only way was to use the lift.

Review 34：In contrast to the description on Booking.com, our room did not have abalcony, a walk-in closet or a minibar. There was no real sitting area,we had to grab a second chair from the corridor. The room was reallysmaller than the stated 25m2. The room was not clean: dead flies anddust along the walls and on window sills. The ceiling of the bathroomhad black moist stains. The hotel is dated inside. E.G. this 4-starhotel has only one elevator, which works very slowly. Booking.com showedan 86% discount from an original price of about 650Euros, which was aclear incentive for us to book this room. However, the room we got wouldnever command a triple digit euro number. We mentioned all of the aboveto the staff upon check out. There was an apology, but that is all.

Service personal were unfriendly,we had mold in our shower & ceiling,we could not open a window in the bathroom to air & the bathroom smelled musty..The room was not cleaned well upon our arrival(dirty kleenex on the floor)210EUR for one night was way overpriced for this room!

No bath, peculiar size room, bathroom in a "cupboard", thin door separating the room next door - i could hear every thing from next door - the whole night! I hardly slept - it was a disaster! When i complained, the receptionist did nothing about it. I left very unhappy!

The door would not lock withouth making some sort of an alarm sound which no one came to look at, even though I called twice at the reception. We ended up sleeping without the door lock on.
