Review 1：The walls and the door is so thin, that you can hear EVERYTHING, that happens outside. In our case - there were some people celebrating in staircase area and we could not sleep half of the night. Afterwards there was a water drip noise from the toilet. TV is rediciously small and the choice of channels is poor, except 100 channels in German :D Breakfast was insufficient for the price and we had a suspicion that our eggs were heated in microwave.

Review 14：It's a hairdressers, a restaurant, a hotel. It's a hairdressers with rooms above, in effect. My single room was by the stairs. I got woken up at 3am by other 'guests' staying upstairs. The breakfast pancakes were cold, the coffee was cold. It was a disaster. The staff told me what I could and couldn't have. The single room was converted out of the loft, but the sloping roof meant I couldn't stand up to pee. The bedroom door was flimsy, the hot water took ages to come through, it was like a cheap, nightmarish bedsit.

Review 15：It's close to the Old Town - but that's a deserted, lifeless zone after about 4pm. Parking is easy. You just park anywhere. No one else is around.

Review 18：We ordered a room at Kupfernams, and we were arriving late by bus from Riga. We called the guest house to make sure that they were open that late before we ordered, and the person who answered the phone told us that they were not normally open this late but that they would wait for us. When we arrived noone opened the door and noone answered the phone, so we were stuck in Ventspils int the middle of the night with nowhere to sleep. Not good at all.

Review 21：Would have to be the most comfortable bed I've had in all of Latvia over my 2 mth stay in Latvia. So much so I booked an additional 2 nights here, tired of moving and living out of a suitcase. Plus Ventspils gorgeous. Beautiful coast, fascinating port and love the trippy cows. Real pretty place, lovely vibe.

Review 24：A delightful little hotel, full of character. Rooms are up a spiral staircase, so be warned if you can't tackle stairs. Comfortable beds, beautiful bed linen. Each room & bathroom is different, as to which angle and slant of the roof it's located. A good breakfast provided in a lovely setting. A pleasure to stay there.

My single room was big enough for me and had nice wooden parts of the wall. Huge bathroom with modern amenities and good space in the shower. Nice but basic breakfast in the cafe downstairs.
