Review 1：Limited breakfast options. Unwelcoming locked gate entry at car park. Clearly not willing or able to offer all services adequately late in the season.

Review 3：Use of outdoor swimming pool can be restrictive when they have a function (reception) on in the pool area - this happened on 3 nights of our stay from afternoon to early evening. However the local beach is only a few minutes walk down the road and an excellent alternative. None of the functions around the pool went on for late and there was no issue with noise - would certainly not put us off booking again!
Review 4：Our second stay at this property, this time for 11 days. Really liked the position, great views over the sea. Staff were friendly and the ones who weren't that fluent in English made an excellent effort to communicate information. Good size bedroom and bathroom. Choice in the restaurant for dinner had improved from 2 years ago and same excellent quality of food.
Review 5：We've been in Portoscuso before and rented a villas. This year we decided to try the hotel. We enjoyed everything - location, food in restaurant, swimming-pool, beach and thanks to all stuff for hospitality. Already miss it.

Review 9：This is a very comfortable hotel in a gorgeous sea-side location on the outskirts of Portoscuso. The industrial complex outside the town is not really visible from the hotel. The pool is really nice and the view is beautiful. The parking is convenient. The breakfast was copious and would appeal to a wide range of tastes. The rooms were spacious and clean with the exception of the balcony floor.

Review 24：Position of the outdoor pool is slightly awkward: to get to it you have to go out through the reception area and around the building or take the back door and go around the edge of the car park. Not really a problem.
Review 25：This hotel is close to the water (estimated 30 metres) and offers fantastic views over the neighbouring islands and the sea. Enormous well-maintained grounds with gated access, outdoor pool with deckchairs and umbrellas and toilet facilities by the poolside, shaded area with furniture. Ample parking. Fridge in the room. Incredibly good service in the restaurant and excellent quality food (particularly the fillet steak!). Excellent coffee in restaurant & bar. Spacious room, spotlessly clean and balcony overlooking the sea. Free WIFI worked without problems 90% of the time (and the rest may have been down to my laptop). Hotel was very quiet at night. Approaching Portoscuso can be slightly shocking because you see the industrial sites on the other side of town, however none of this is visible from the hotel or the side of town where the hotel is and it does not affect your stay at all, so don't let this put you off. -- If you are looking for interesting walks, explore the rocks by the sea just outside the hotel gate. -- For beaches, the local beach is small, but very sheltered and only 200m down the road. If you are happy to drive, go to Porto Pino, Masua, Calasetta or Buggerru beaches. -- There is a little restaurant/pizzeria by the local beach which opens in the evening and does very tasty and reasonably priced food - worth keeping in mind if you find the hotel restaurant menu too limited or feel like having a pizza!

Review 28：The sea view from our superior room was only a partial sea view (room overlooked a road) and not as nice as the sea view from the standard room. When the wind is strong, I do not consider the pool usable. City of Portoscuso is not very nice. Hotel views nice but not enjoyable from restaurant (at least when we were there, dinner was inside with all curtains closed shut). Overall, comments make this hotel sound like a beach/seaside hotel, in my opinion, this hotel is more a nature/wildlife hotel. The local beach is more a city beach and, in my opinion, the main attraction of this hotel is the possibility to visit the south part of the Costa Verde which is beautiful, mountainous and completely wild (4*4 car recommended and also a full tank of petrol).
