Review 2：We loved everything, location so relaxing and Guido, the proprietor, was amazing. If you are looking for the ultimate relaxation in the hills of Chianti, this is the answer. We are in Venice right now but wish we were back at La Locanda.

Review 13：We loved this beautiful 'home from home' country hotel. Guido and Martina were wonderful hosts, friendly but not intrusive. The views are incredible. We recommend the home-cooked dinner! The bedrooms have a chic yet rustic feel, with high quality linens and toiletries. Swimming pool looked nice but we didn't try it.
Review 14：If you travel with your own personal vehicle which happens not to bean suv, don't book here. You'll scrape your car, no doubt,apart from the fact that you'll have to wash it inside out everytime you use it to drive in and out of the hotel (3km+ of unsurfacedand dusty roads; the last part is downhill and with rocky surface).Local council should help out by making this hotel more accessible tothe general public!
Review 15：Fair manager who immediately understood that damaging my car to arriveat the hotel was not worth it and charged me 20% (booking.comcommission) instead of the total amount.
Review 16：Wonderful owners, gorgeous remote location with simple clean rooms. We had a wonderful bathtub and a veranda patio. There is a wonderful infinity pool and trails that take you to the closest town (15 min walk) where you can sample local Volpaia wine, vinegar and olive oil paired with fruit and cheese. We loved it here and would recommend it to anyone going to Tuscany.
