Review 1：The fact we had to return to work and couldn't stay more :) But we will return!
Review 2：Reading some reviews made me skeptical initially to book a room at Relais Santa Cristina, but because of a two days trip in Chianti we decided to take a chance and I’m happy we did so. Unlike others' experience, when I go in the Chianti region I want to experience the ’real’ local feeling and Santa Cristina is an expression of that. Centuries old but beautifully preserved countryside domain made into a holiday resort with an amazing view of property’s and surrounding vineyards and olive trees plantations. Our room was big enough, with a comfortable bed, warm rustic atmosphere and clean. Breathtaking scenery of typical Chianti hills surrounds the property while the small but amazing town of Radda is less than 1 km away. The owner was really nice and greeted us well with some insights in the history of the family owned place since 19th century. But of course, if you’re looking for IKEA furnished rooms with impeccable finishes and on the clock services, maybe countryside of Tuscany is not the place. In Santa Cristina the furniture is old as the buildings but nicely valued and renovated and all the atmosphere and surrounding scents express fully the typical countryside feeling we were seeking. A countryside estate is not as easy to upgrade as a city one. If you seek for defects you can of course find them but in all fairness a radical change of the place would ruin a lot its charm and definitely increase highly the price that as it is now offers to many the privilege of enjoying the amazing beauty of Radda in Chianti. Everything is tranquil and slow as one wants the atmosphere in a Tuscan countryside resort be preserved. All in all, I will return and recommend it to others.
Review 3：Breakfast is not on the property, but it is located in small restaurant some 400 meters away. Still, it is very nice with friendly staff and the food and coffe are great. Rooms do not have acess to WiFi, it is only available at the reception. Pay attention to bathrooms, because it is different depend on which room you get.
Review 4：Location is great, in the very heart of Chianti region. Florence is 45 minutes away by car as well as Siena. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly, but do not speek english.

Review 7：generally the complex was a bit out-dated. Could use a facelift. In addition, the rooms were just not really clean, on the first day we decided to (re)clean the bathroom ourselfs. Contrary to what is here on the website. The manager speaks little or no English.

Review 9：Rooms are very tired. Fixtures are worn or broken. Toilet seat not on properly/ wouldnt stay up. Had to move room as was put next to the kitchen originally. No good for peace after a long day guiding on the bike. Room was quiet, although quite a few noisy groups of guests at the end of the week. Some very rude types taking breakfast/ seats. Breakfast room failed to open one morning and wasnt taken off my bill. Could be worth paying more to avoid above. But positives almost balance them out.
Review 10：The views from the pool and drive are amazing. Set amongst Santa Cristina vines. The food from the restaurant is divine, worth waiting for the couple slogging over the oven but they aim to please and service is fine. Every night it feels like they are cooking for a dinner party. The menu is great. The wife makes the deserts. The strawberry cheescake is incredible. The pool is the best feature of the relais. Good rate for a long stay.
Review 11：too small quantity of sunbeds and sunshades, not enough for all guests, some of them are broken and old. Area around the swimming pool was not clean, for example coffe cup/glasses/towels etc. stays for 5 days in one place - were not clear away. Room was not cleaning for 5 days. Very poor breakfast (old break, marmolade in plastic, yoghurt, coffe) and that's all. If you were to late you have nothing to eat.
Review 12：Location in the center of Chianti Region, very good restaurant open after 8 PM with local foog and wine, but served by external personel. Big swimming pool, beatifull view on vineyards and olive trees. free parking.
Review 13：Neglected property, very untidy all over, breakfast consists of bread butter and jam, when checking out they wanted a cash payment for a "city tax" on top of our credit card payment for our booking.
Review 14：1- Dirty, you can see the overall lack of care and maintenance. Very difficult to get fresh towels: we spent 8 nights and was changed only once after 3 reminders 2- Big lack of presence of staff. Seems to be deserted. 3- horrible break fast. Some customers bring the morning their own milk, orange juice and ham! 4- No interest in keeping the place up.

Review 16：The breakfast did, in all guests's eyes, not deserve to be called breakfast. Dry bread with abricots marmelade. The property is wasted, badly taken care of and our roof was leaking. The owner (no personnel) does not speak any english... Not reccomendable!
Review 17：Breakfast - first day only bread + butter + jam. Next days +veg&fruit but missing typical croisants, tasty italianham&salami = almost only sweet meal...The best time of this "farm hotel" are over - mass around, farm is in poor condition compare to others.

Review 19：Basic room without air-con was very uncomfortable, as temp was in high thirties. We paid to upgrade and that was fine. Staff seemed stretched and having to multi-task. Reception area not welcoming or inspiring.

Review 24：The location is good.It locates in a grape field.It is a good choice for you to live here in summer or autumn but not in winter.It is so cold in winter here.Free parking ,and we spent a good time with the houseowner and the customers and some local people for celebration for 2015 new year midnight.And tasted many traditional Italy dishes.That is great.
