Review 4：I had expected the dinner fare to be better. I'd heard they have a reputation for the food served. Not so. Quite acceptable, if basic. As the younger members of the hosts' family were always present in the afternoon and early evening, I was sometimes made to feel as if I was in the way. Not a guest, just an interruption

Review 7：It was a lovely, old style hotel with a spectacular view of Lake Como. A wonderful breakfast was served each morning on the terrace over looking the lake. The underground parking garage was very convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but ours had a balcony. It was spotlessly clean.

Review 8：It was a big walk downhill to the lake. But an even harder walk up the hill home. A shuttle service on an occassion would be helpful.
