Reviews for Albergo Reggio
Review 1:As the rooms are not in the main building and you have to exit to have breakfast in the main hotel, an electric water kettle inside the room would be very appreciated. At least one could have coffee or tea before walking onto the streets to have breakfast at Hotel Posta.
Review 2:Everything!
Review 3:I booked two single beds as we were two man attending a show and we were given a double bed. I complained and she said that they had no notiofication from booking.com after showing her the reservation she ob;iged us with another single bed.
Review 4:location and a quite area.
Review 5:- A little difficult to find to hotel if you decide to walk from the central station - You have to go to another hotel for check in and they don't notice that before. When you come to the building a big note welcomes you about that and if you don't speak Italian, you have to call the hotel
Review 6:Location (it's in the centre of the city)
Review 7:WiFi connection was a problem & finally I was given a different password which still seemed to work better in reception at Hotel Posta than in my room. So it was difficult to contact my friend via WhatsApp to make arrangements to meet etc. Water leaked out of the shower cabinet, but the staff were helpful & gave me extra towels to put on the floor. This should be rectified ASAP as I could have fallen on the wet floor.
Review 8:Central location, quiet, my request for an upstairs room was given. Breakfast at Hotel Posta was excellent & only 2 minutes from Albergo Reggio. The reception & restaurant staff in Hotel Posta were friendly & helpful. My room was very spacious with a double bed despite being a solo traveller.
Review 9:Only one set of keys, no water or electric kettle in the room, non-refundable room doesn't mean 'pay in advance', they charge your card immediatly after making a reservation, invoice was not ready while checking-out, the one sent via e-mail was also wrong, wifi did not work
Review 10:Very close to the city centre, comfortable bed, room is cleaned every day
Review 11:It is now much clearer on the site that this is an annex of Hotel Posta. If travelling by car, it should be stated upfront that you need to get the directions from the Posta. We ended up abandoning the car & walking on the first day! Parking is very limited & although the staff did their best to manage this, our rental car was damaged by another vehicle outside.
Review 12:Location - just minutes from piazza for outdoor cafes and relaxing in the evening
Review 13:The wi-fi service and procedure is iffy and sometimes frustrating. Also, the eagerness of the cleaners (9.30am on a Sunday morning?) vexed us, but otherwise everything was fine.
Review 14:Albergo Reggio - affiliated with the prestigious Hotel Posta - was a perfect central spot for a two-night stay in the sweet town of Reggio Emilia. Ideally located, it was comfortable and charming and I recommend it for anyone looking to visit this beautiful part of Emilia-Romagna.
Review 15:Location very noisy. Staff not particularly helpful. Didn't let us know about the information centre, which would have very handy at the beginning of our stay rather than the end. And a smidge hoighty toighty.
Review 16:Location central
Review 17:A little noisy- we were in the annex and our room looked over an alley way - lots of echoes from people walking through.
Review 18:Great location - right in the old town. A very good breakfast.
Review 19:A bit difficult to get by car. Make sure the car is going to be registered in the police, otherwise a fine will arrive. There was no WIFI that night.
Review 20:Super position! Beautiful building! Abundant breakfast!
Review 21:Nothing to dislike.
Review 22:The front desk for Albergo Reggio is also the front desk of the Hotel Posta, one of the best hotels in town. We had access to that hotel's facilities, parking and desk staff. All were outstanding. The location was perfect, our room was simple but spacious, included a sofa, and the price was quite moderate. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Review 23:nothing at al
Review 24:Although this is an annex op Hotel Posta, this is a womderfull location. Beakfast at hotel la posta We could park our bikes in a secure environment Spacious rooms Reception clerk speaks oxford english in the city centre
Review 25:It is not clear that you have to register at another hotel, so we were lost for a time. It was also not clear that there was not a desk or staff at this site. When checking in there was a clear distinction between "the hotel" and "the annex" and the things the annex didn't include/we would have to pay more for....... Very helpful staff, but left us with a very clear feeling of the division, so not so welcoming.
Review 26:The location in the middle of the city is great! The room and bathroom were very large and clean. There was a very nice closet area, so if you wanted to base from this hotel you would find plenty of room and organization for your things - not like you were living out of a suitcase. Everything was very comfortable (beds, pillows, chairs).
Review 27:As usual, have to create account and so on for free wi-fi - didn't bother, tired of having to do that everywhere I go.
Review 28:Large room with working air con, breakfast option good if pricy, parking for car useful if not again a little pricy, esp for a half day after check out.
Review 29:Wifi Access a little complicated, didn't work for all.
Review 30:Perfect location, clean and quite, good hard beds.
Review 31:this is hotel annex to hotel la Posta, down a dingy side street, dark with bars over windows

Review 67:Quiet central location, very comfortable beds. Very clean. Spacious and historic building.
Review 68:Starting work in another country, in a place where you don't know anyone is a bit daunting. Being in a very friendly, comfortable hotel made things a lot easier. A great location too. I would certainly recommend this great hotel.
Review 69:No lounge area in this bit of the hotel.
Review 70:Well located in centre. It's owned by the Hotel Posta where you check-in and then a member of staff walked me the 100 metres to Albergo Reggioin a seperate building. No staff apparent in the hotel but thatdidn't matter, 2 entrance doors always kept locked and located atend of short shopping arcade, always felt safe. Very clean, modern andcomfortable.
Review 71:Great staff and location. Breakfast at the Hotel Posta is superb and ina beautiful decorated room. Reggio Emilia is a beautiful city and has alot to offer in historic sites and shopping, not to mention the greatfood, restaurants, cafes and the friendly people.
