Review 1：Because in the room have kitchen so have food smelling around a kitchen ,there is curtain for prevent smoke but it's too short .In the bathroom ,it's difficult to control temperature of water .

Review 16：We didn't have enough time to fully appreciate all areas of the park. The signage at the back gate telling you which way to turn along the creek to get to Sovereign Hill is missing.

Review 17：The location was brilliant for Sovereign Hill which was why we were in Ballarat this visit. We could leave the car and walk to Sovereign Hill. The staff were excellent, extremely helpful and very pleasant. The facilities were also excellent. We had a 3 bedroom cabin and it was well appointed, extremely comfortable and more than adequate. It was very clean and the staff had made sure it was welcoming and ready for us (heater and lights on, milk in fridge etc).

Review 19：Ideal over night stay in the Settlers cabin. Self catering. The holiday park would be ideal for a young family with a variety of fun things to do. Convenient location to visit Sovereign Hill. Did not use wifi, therefore, cannot rate.

Review 20：Lighting a bit poor for reading. Rangehood and T.V.shelf too low, bumpedour heads. M'wave at floor level. Elderley have trouble kneeling onfloor to read settings. Hook or rail needed for tea-towel.

The free BBQ's were kept spotless and we used them for a family BBQ. Facilities for children were great, bouncing pillow, playground and pool. We all felt safe. :)

Review 41：A very comfortable cabin, plenty of room to move around, my wife has to watch what she eats so she likes to cook her own food, there was everything she needed. Lovely clean toilet and shower plus hair shampoo & wash. very handy as she had forgot to bring any with her. We only stayed one night, but would have been happy to stay long term! Don Mc Donald

Review 42：No box of tissues in the cottage... A box of tissues would have been a very useful extra item in the cottage, especially since it was cold when we were in Ballarat and I often had sniffles. Maybe an option of chocolate for non-coffee/tea drinkers would also be good. Not exactly a 'not like' but a hopeful suggestion...perhaps BIG4 could have a few rice cookers which can be made available upon request? I know not all guests use rice cookers, so each cottage doesn't have to have it, but we just thought there could be that option for some who would like it and for those who eat rice as a staple. We would have appreciated it.

Review 43：We stayed in Big4 for 3 days. We loved that it was walking distance to Sovereign Hill and bus stops. The cottage we stayed in had all the basic necessities, especially in preparing meals, so we saved a lot by not having to eat out all the time. The cottage was clean and comfortable and equipped with basic cleaning stuff so guests could keep it clean while they stayed.

Review 57：The door handle in the bedroom fell off, and our 18month old was trapped inside. I immediately ran to the reception where, it wasn't treated too urgently. After 10 minutes the reception lady arrived at the cabin to tell us "not too worry, the repair person is coming". A further 15 minutes later he arrived! Before the first staff member arrived, we had dismantled the door handle and got our child out!. Not happy with the way is was all disregarded.
