Reviews for Villa Vesuviana

Review 1:The whole villa was under renovation and from outside it was quite a mess. Credit card payment did not work and had to pay cash. Electricity outlets were not safe. Kitchen did not have much of cutlery and china.

Review 2:Location was good for us visiting both Naples and Pompeii. Views from the roof terrace were nice and the rooms were spacious and clean. Possibility for washing clothes.

Review 3:Our Host Antonio was very kind and gave us infos and tipps for our stay. Pompei and Ercolano within easy reach, own car needed. The Appartement is located in an old Palazzo, which is being renovated , but the flat itself was ready to use and everything worked fine. There is no elevator.

Review 4:Very nice spacious appartment in 300 years old villa! Good location if you want to travel around. Lovely view - from one side Vesuvio, and on the other Capri island.

Review 5:we were on the 3rd floor - no elevator. staff doesn't know English

Review 6:the view from the window. the apartment itself is pretty. good place to stay one night(as we did) . free wifi.

Review 7:The photos did not represent the place we stayed in which was beyond strange and by no means a villa. The room was located in a very very old building with semi-permanant scaffolding over the door which made us wonder about the structural integrity of the building. Inside the building was cavernous and cold and we felt very isolated and unsafe there especially at night. The room setup was strange - we had to go through four locked doors to get to our private external bathroom, which IS NOT good in the middle of the night or when the need is urgent. Altogether we had 5 keys to our accommodation and some of them were very large and strange shaped. Unfortunately, we wouldn't stay here again or recommend.

Review 8:Owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was large and comfortable. Convenient location close to a train station for easy access to Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, etc.

Review 9:A tv would have been nice and in cold weather the shower room can be a little bit chilly.

Review 10:Amazing views on both mount Vesuvius and the sea (Capri) from the balcony and roof terrace, period building with lots of charm, good wi-fi, good facilities alround, excellent value for money, only 5 foot minutes from the train station, helpful and friendly landlord

Review 11:Being within easy walking distance of the Circumvesuviana train station this is a great home base for Pompeii, Ercolano, Oplontis and Naples. It is safe with good parking. The views of the Bay of Naples on one side and Vesuvius on the other are incredible.

Review 12:Let down by it's position really as it isn't handy for any good restaurants as it is in a resedential area. We ended up having to travel quite a way in the evenings. Difficult to find as instructions weren't very clear.

Review 13:Quiet place to stay. Nice roof terrace. Large clean bedrooms.

Review 14:Well-equipped brand new kitchen in very spacious room. The huge veranda over-looking the monte vesuvio & napoli sea coast. The quiet country-like surroundings with nearby city facilities (grocery, general store, pharmacy, train station all at 5 to 10 minutes walk) Antonino the owner of this noble 17th century renovated villa with all is discretion, special attention & easy accessibility. Definetely a place to go back.

Review 15:We booked a different room, a small seperate building. It looked great, but Antonino showed us one of the other appartements in the main farmhouse, and we switched to that one because it was beautiful. Great balcony with view on the Vesuvius and Capri. Great wifi, dishwasher, fridge, bath, shower.

Review 16:- there is not much around the Hotel, besides groceries and bowling, the beach is 5 km away - It is loud outside, can be a nuisance when sleeping with windows open. - Wifi is very unstable

Review 17:- Location of Villa Vesuviana is ideal for taking trips and exploring Campania, train station and highway are close - the owner is very friendly and helpful - Wifi is free

Review 18:Very nice host, the best Wi-Fi I had in any hotel in Italy

Review 19:The location is scary.

Review 20:The owner and operator of Villa Vesuviana was very kind and considerate.

Review 21:Need cosmetic rebuilding outside the villa

Review 22:quiet place, clean appartment

Review 23:I was surprised that there was no TV, there were a lot of stairs, we could have done with some soft seats

Review 24:The view, the space, the staff

Review 25:View from the rooftop terras is absolutely amazing!
