Reviews for Villa Sant’Uberto Country Inn

Review 1:Perfect as always. I love this little hotel. This inn has all what a small hotel should have. Situated in a wondeful location outside Radda. Important is in a very good location, as a starting point to visit places in Toscana. Hotel is clean, service is great (very frendly & helpful staff). Everything is all right, elegant room, good breakfast, very sure parking, beautiful views and park, very good wi-fi........ I'll be back again!!

Review 2:Slightly dark room (due to all the trees on the property) Not-so-good coffee (if I want to be real nitpicker)

Review 3:Amazing place (surroundings) Nice pool Pleasant staff Tasty breakfast with gorgeous views from terrace Spacious bathroom

Review 4:Told breakfast was from 8am but arrived at 8.30 with reception closed and breakfast room 'closed for maintenance'. Once we rang number on desk told there was a staff issue but we suspect they slept in. The quality of breakfast was quite poor & considering the villa isn't near the village this should've been better. Also booking information should make it clear that there is no restaurant onsite, only a snack bar. Castellina is 3km away for dinner options.

Review 5:Beautiful location

Review 6:Rules and regulations everywhere. As this accommodation has so many good things to offer, it is recommended that be a bit more flexible and focus on the good thing rather than hanging red stop signs and rules what not to do everywhere.

Review 7:Location is superb and owner/staff are really nice.

Review 8:Would not change a thing.

Review 9:Stunning location, very large room (we took one of the larger rooms with a terrace, it is easily worth the extra money). Very large bathroom, excellent shower, lovely hosts, excellent and ample breakfast. Really good food available locally and short drives to wonderful Castellina in Chianti or the larger Radda.

Review 10:The bed was in a great vintage steel style, but the headrest was too. You couldnt place your pillow against it because of the open spaces in the headrest. I like to be able to sit up straight in bed with the pillow against the headrest, when i relax in the room.

Review 11:Great location with spectacular view. Rooms great size and bathroom also very sizeable with lots of storage space.

Review 12:Gated property with limited accessibility. The staff does not understand how to deal with customer dissatisfaction to turn it into a positive experience for everyone. Sadly, customer service is not their strength. If you have no difficulties, you will enjoy the experience. If you have a problem or unusual request, you will be treated badly.

Review 13:Traditional furnishings of the region, rugs throughout the common areas, an attempt to create an atmosphere of a Tuscan country home. WiFi connection excellent! Close to Castellina in Chianti, which has one of the world's best gelaterias, L'Antica Delizia, and a wonderful restaurant, Le Tre Porte.

Review 14:It was all fantatsic

Review 15:This is the most tranquil of locations supported by the most amazing management team who could not do enough for us. Sara who takes care of the guests is the most hard working selfless individual we have all met. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

Review 16:Nothing to dislike

Review 17:This is a lovely small boutique style hotel with only about 10 rooms - would suit families or couples. Great location and close to everything you could possibly want to see in Tuscany. Beautiful views from the terrace where we had breakfast in the mornings, overlooking the swimming pool. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Review 18:Would have liked the terrace to be open all day.

Review 19:Situated between Castellina and Radda, it is in beautiful countryside and well placed for wine tasting. Easy to drive to Siena and great to relax in the pool at the end of the day. Very good breakfast on the terrace with superb views. Very good reasonably priced restaurant a few minutes walk down the road.

Review 20:This place is utterly delightful. Sant' Uberto is impeccably clean & beautiful. I must admit this is the best experience i had in Italy. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. The room was very cute and comfortable with a large bathroom. The surrounding Chianti area is full of wonderful discoveries and easy access for all other parts of Tuscany. If you ever come to Chianti region do not miss opportunity to stay in Villa Sant' Uberto, hospitality, breakfast, views, atmosphere, simply everything. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to immerse themselves in the Tuscan countryside with some really fantastic people. For sure i will come back again!

Review 21:My friends were right, everything there is perfect. The best location and very beautiful place. My room was elegant furnished and clean. Delicious genuine breakfast with good selection (try the hot croissants). Staff professional, polite and friendly. Hotel with a very good value for the rate i paid, surely i will return again.

Review 22:Only one restaurant close by. Place is difficult to find at night. Entrance driveway needs to be upgraded.

Review 23:Quiet location. Wonderful views and scenery.

Review 24:The staff was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was enormous and was the most comfortable sleep I had. I had never seen so many stars as I had seen that evening we stayed at the inn. I wish I could be back there now.

Review 25:I can not say I did not like , but I got feeling that two people in reception were very scared of their bosses " owners of the property" , too many prohibiting notices were stick on the walls, so it was very mixed feeling of beautiful locations and rules

Review 26:views and nature

Review 27:Nil- great value and stunning location.

Review 28:Beautiful location- stunning views and grounds. Really big room with comfy beds and a great shower. Breakfast was good.

Review 29:Nothing

Review 30:The hotel is in a beautiful location. Amazing views and surrounded by traditional Tuscan villages. The owners do their best to give you a warm welcome.

Review 31:Breakfast should be more variable. Classical music playing all day in the lounge.

Review 32:Excellent location and beatiful view. Helpful personnel. Large swimming pool. Nice restaurant just near by.

Review 33:I would go there again and again. It was out favorite part of our Italy trip. It is a great launching point to all parts of Tuscany if you don't mind driving.

Review 34:Too strict when it comes to own food and drinks. Other places give ice for example.

Review 35:Beautiful surroundings! Great room and quiet. Good location (Radda/Castellina).

Review 36:poor and standard breakfast (Italian coffee for pay! and the rest just in thermos) bathrooms soap upon request and not very good

Review 37:courtesy of the staff property itself with swimming pool location

Review 38:Great location in Tuscany for a couple with a car

Review 39:Excellent place

Review 40:Poor Breakfast, espresso costs extra

Review 41:View, Tuscany,

Review 42:breakfast is no good. so nausea

Review 43:easy parking

Review 44:Very peaceful and lovely pool

Review 45:We were made feel really welcome to what is a beautiful country house villa set in amazing countryside.

Review 46:The Hotel and the location ard fabuluous

Review 47:no

Review 48:everything

Review 49:Everything was perfect.

Review 50:Quiet place and close to all basic destinations in Chianti. A real heaven on earth!

Review 51:-swimming pool -wifi -parking -restaurant which is nearby (teasty food, very nice service) -beautiful view

Review 52:Although it's in a great location you will have to drive a lot to get to most cities you will probably want to visit, impossible to reach without a car

Review 53:Wonderful view, great staff (extremely helpful and nice), breakfast on the terrace overlooking Tuscany, a pool

Review 54:Absolutely LOVED this place - soo beautiful and private. I think we had the best room in the place - corner room apartment, with gorgeous views and so much light. Great cooking facilities and lovely space. Stayed an extra night because it was so wonderful. The breakfast was great (though the coffee could be hotter) and everything about the area fit our needs - private, quiet, serene, beautiful, well-priced, friendly - all in all, a fabulous part of our vacation. Couldn't have been more pleased...

Review 55:It's a pleasure to say that there is absolutely nothing i didn't like

Review 56:It was an amazing experience. Very welcoming and warm place; i felt like home. It has big park, where everybody can find place to seat, relax and drink a glass of wine from the house; hammocks, where you can read, sleep and listen the nature; perfect getaway. Breakfast on the terrace is awesome, with deliciously fresh fruit salad. The service was attentive and polite and the front desk staff were very helpful. Room was spacious and beautifully appointed with villa antiques (beautiful big bathroom). Very highly recommended, i can't wait to return again!

Review 57:Distance to a choice of restaurants was too great. The staff could have been more welcoming and less snobby.

Review 58:Rooms was spacious and the terrace was large enough for all the guests to enjoy. Provided good secure parking. The breakfast provided was okay. It had good location for visiting the Chianti wine country.

Review 59:It's 6 km from Radda but that's a small disadvantage considering the setting.

Review 60:Couldn't think of a more idyllic, beautiful, quiet Tuscan vista. Terraces outside hotel fantastic and relaxing pool in the trees. Excellent restaurant 5 mins walk away. Near to Siena and Firenze.

Review 61:The villa is set in a wonderfully tranquil environment with stunning views. A great area from which to visit wine farms and numerous small, pretty and interesting villages.

Review 62:This is exactly what we wanted to be away from the cities and enjoy the Tuscan hills. It's a shame the weather wasn't a tiny bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool more! The staff were helpful and have us suggestions of where to go. Both albola and volpaia were fantastic. The restaurant near the hotel makes th best pizza but everything else is also really enjoyable. You definitely need a car for this spot to not only get to but also to explore the surrounding town and wineries.

Review 63:Small room. No elevator. No assistance with baggage available. Largelynegatively described guest policy. Unpaved entry road. Breakfast lessthan expected even for Italy. Coffee was not prepared individually, itwas kept in a warmer for the whole morning. No glasses available, unlessspecifically ordering from the bar.

Review 64:View. WiFi.

Review 65:Breakfast needs improvement

Review 66:Place in pastoral heart of the Chianti valley close to Siena and Florence, huge rooms and amazing, breathtaking scenery, beautiful pool, a pleasure

Review 67:No hairdryer in room... Everything else was perfect for us.

Review 68:Outstanding country setting between Radda (car needed), a big terrace with wonderful view, exquisitely decorated and huge rooms, beautiful garden, large pool, nice staff. A truelly memorable experience!

Review 69:You'd be crazy not to stay here

Review 70:Our room was beautiful and gigantic. Our bathroom was enormous andgorgeous. Our room led out to a terrace overlooking the property and theChianti countryside (note the terrace allows multiple rooms to use theterrace). The staff is incredible. The grounds are beautiful with alarge pool. The location is easy to find, but hidden down a gravel road. The bar and restaurant lead out to a lower terrace. The Inn is locatednear several wineries. This is the best kept secret in Chianti!!!!

Review 71:Lack of grocery's in the nearest surroundings.

Review 72:Great landscapes, very nice, professional and friendly staff, variety breakfasts eaten on a beautiful terrace, wonderful insides. You can feel the Tuscany spirit there.

Review 73:We had a few problems with the gate and easy access in and out. One mairninf we had to leave early and were locked in!! Receptionist was unavailable. We almost missed our train.

Review 74:It is tired and becoming unloved.Breakfast, below par. Needs a big dose of TLC.

Review 75:The view, the staff, the nice old world feel. The furniture was superb.

Review 76:A lovely peaceful place to explore Tuscany. Close to both Radda & Constellina, so lots of choice for dinner.

Review 77:Breakfast was alittle sparse on choices and flavor

Review 78:Love being in the middle of wine region

Review 79:Entry to the villa--rough road. May be too isolated?

Review 80:The quiet! Countryside.

Review 81:Lovely place to rest with beautiful view!

Review 82:Breakfast was disappointing compared to other places in Italy.

Review 83:Relaxed place with super views and big garden

Review 84:Everything was good , and recommend this hotel to everyone
