Reviews for La Rose Du Desert
Review 1:Dinner preparation took far too long (kids claimed they almost starved). Location is far off even for a place like Erfoud.
Review 2:Nice bungalow and garden, the overall interior of the hotel is quite nice. Breakfast highly recommendable.
Review 3:The AC didn't work so good. We weren't able to have diner at the hotel. ( and there is barely any good restaurant in town) The rooms are dark.
Review 4:Having a pool in the summer was more than welcome! The guy who was at the reception was really friendly, he even came with us to show us where to buy some fresh fruits. Nice place to stop when heading towards the desert.
Review 5:Hotel is located on main road, which obviously sees heavy lorries as well. One could hear these in the room at night. Which is not bad, but also unexpected. Our bungalow was on the other side of the garden, away from the road.
Review 6:Great garden to relax, swim and dinner/breakfast. Very good personal service. Private parking directly in front of hotel. Small complex.
Review 7:Absolutley nice and quiet riad/hotel in erfoud near to Merzouga. The lovely garden with a nice pool invites to stay and just relax. We arrived at the riad/hotel a little bit sick but the lovley employees took care of us. The food was fresh and always very tasty. Overall it was a perfect stay and we did not want to leave that place.
Review 8:A car is helpful because it is a little bit located outside from the mainstreet.
Review 9:Very beautiful room, nicely decorated. The staff (Otman) is a wonderful host and very helpful. The breakfast very good. Recommend this hotel.
Review 10:Ideally positioned for Merzouga and the desert. Attractive setting, delicious food and most of all excellent service from the very attentive and friendly host.
Review 11:The rooms were nice in design and layout, but the furniture was a bit dated and dusty. It appeared not very clean and we saw lots of little insects behind the sofa.
Review 12:Bungalows nicely grouped around the pool with palm trees. We were the only guests during the low season of Ramadan and Otman was super friendly and helpful and made us comfortable. He even called restaurants to make sure we got a delicious dinner.
Review 13:All good!
Review 14:Amazing pool great cuisine and good location for desert visit without having to camp out.
Review 15:Meals are very good and quite large.
Review 16:the staff was super friendly and we loved the pool and sitting under the palm trees, very relaxing; also easy to organize a desert tour
Review 17:all perfect
Review 18:swimming pool and the staf
Review 19:It was the most uncomfortable of all the hotels we stayed in Morocco. Owner didn't like children at all and made our stay really a pain. Find another hotel, there are many in the vicinity where you will be treated better.
Review 20:Not recommended for families with small children, not welcome by the owner
Review 21:Beautiful, quiet Palm-Garden surrounded by comfortable bungalows, very friendly host and staff --- we stayed 3 nights ( the first time ever on any trip ) and really enjoyed the place. JD and Gab.B , Germany
Review 22:Hostess was indifferent. There was one guy who seemed to do everything. When we complained that we didn't have hot water, he told us that it was because our room was very far from the main heater & told us we just had to let the water run until it heated up. It took over 10 mins to finally become warm. We didn't want to keep wasting water so we all took cold or tepid showers. There were mosquitos that kept us up at night.
Review 23:The facilities were nice looking. Pool was excellent. No large tour buses of people which was good! Very good parking. Easy to find.
Review 24:The shower hose was broken, it is very run down & tired. Breakfast consisted of stale croissant but the rest was ok. Owner & staff were very friendly.
Review 25:Easy to find
Review 26:Credit card machine didn't work. Symptomatic of rural partsof Morocco.
Review 27:Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help.Owner isfrench and serves high-quality meals. Pleasant gardens around pool.Convenient for people travelling by car, because on edge of town. Westayed 2 nights. Can certainly recommend it.
Review 28:The 2 km distance from Hotel to the village.
Review 29:Very nice and friendly Management and staff (Otman). We spent there some beautiful days. The best of all is the garden which is a Little Paradies designed by the femal French owner. We also can recommend a trip with the owners 4x4 car to Merzougha and the secret place of the circle mountain.
