Reviews for B&B La Magica Torre

Review 1:Room: Budget simplicity. Parking: As town is mostly pedestrian only, was initially confusing to stop car at pizzeria restaurant (they manage the rooms), and have pizza chef walk down the hillside street to their private car park cave in the mountain. (which was spacious, easy, secure.)

Review 2:Location: Independant room (like a studio) in a building in center of pedestrianized Pitigliano. Location is great as easy walk to everywhere in this tiny magical town. Value: Despite budget quality of room, the price was so inexpensive, combined with the excellent location in town center and very friendly pizza chef and waitress, made this a very good value. Service: Though they spoke little english, the pizza chef and young waitress were helpful, offering us free carafe of wine and fresh baked pizza dough appetezier (that was delicious), and the pizza chef briskly walking us across town center to the building with the rooms.

Review 3:nothing!! if being forced to write something, not about the hotel or the trattoria, Pitigliano is too solitude, and it's too hard to approach by oneself... but, i think, that itself is worth visiting!

Review 4:perfect!! the foods were especially very good! and the waitress of the trattoria was also so friendly and attractive!! she was the most beautiful lady I had seen in this Itarian trip!!

Review 5:they almost don't speak English( but it is usual for such a little town

Review 6:great location, nice room, very very good service, stuff is really frendly, view is just amazing

Review 7:- worm in a salad, responded by a smile on the waiter's face - impossible to pay by VISA or Amex card - horribly arranged bathroom (Apt 2) - smelly refrigerator - poor lighting

Review 8:The place is stunning, definitely worth the long trip by car.

Review 9:The main shower head wouldn't work, so we had to use the hand held head, but there was plenty of hot water. The fridge looked rather old and to have it next to the bed in the second bedroom seemed odd.

Review 10:Excellent location. Comfy bed with good bedding. We ate in their restaurant across the road, which was good. They even have a special set menu for guests at a discounted price, if you wish, we were very full by the end of the meal. Very good sized apartment, with seating.

Review 11:It was a clean room, comfortable and easy to access. They provided parking and respond very good to all our requests. The location was magnific in the little town of Pitigliano.

Review 12:Hard to find our inn keeper. Loud street noise.

Review 13:The town is beautiful beyond our expectations. A little difficult to find the owner and actual front door. Lovely interior and great views. Loud street but just close the windows.

Review 14:Nothing negative to comment :-)

Review 15:The location as well as the room in itself was perfect for us. The hotel arranged parking for us close by. Easy communication and very friendly staff.

Review 16:No one around to help us check in, neighbour opened the door and gave us a key to the room. Weird, no registration done at all. What a filthy place, dust and mold everywhere, we even had an old fridge full of mold just standing there unplugged. We didn't dare take a shower for there was mold and leakage all over the place. Again at check out no one to be seen, apparently woke up the owner at ten am to be able to pay for the place. Not worth it, go somewhere else!

Review 17:Only the location and that they have parking. The rest is just horrible.

Review 18:The room was a fully equipped apartment in gorgeous Pitigliano and we loved it! Easy to reach, clean, lovely and comfortable! The host is incredibly nice, he offered us many things and made us feel very welcome! Very recommendable! The dinner in their restaurant was also awesome. Great experience in Pitigliano!

Review 19:Room was large enough, but had a poor excuse for a kitchen. Also,,, a rather awkward half-step in the room. This place could be really nice, if they knew how to do it right!

Review 20:Good location for walking into town. Nice that they have place for you to park your car!

Review 21:Everything was great, nothing to dislike!

Review 22:We were accommodated in room nr. 2, which have exit to a big terrace. Room is very big and comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Host was wery helpful. Parking in the garage under the room window, across the street. Few steps away is trattoria-pizzeria La magica torre ( same owner), where we ate and drink well. We can reccomend it!

Review 23:I had made an error in the booking date. However, the friendly staff arranged alternative rooms in the old city that were perfect for our purposes and this saved the entire weekend.

Review 24:Steps

Review 25:Place

Review 26:Stairs.

Review 27:Outstanding ancient village! Go you won't believe it.

Review 28:The shower stall was to small. And there were no bath towels.

Review 29:The view from the Veranda

Review 30:Very nice place, in contact with nature, big room, nice terrace.

Review 31:Fantastic location. Very charming and large rooms with original architecture and authentic furniture. Overall a great find. Warmly recommended.

Review 32:The walls are very thin and there is no AC.

Review 33:The location is good and the staff is very friendly.

Review 34:everything - location very characteristic - hosts super gentle and helpful

Review 35:Beautiful little town of Pitigliano. Great starting point for discovering surrounding. Cascate del Mulino in Saturni aTerme is a must see.

Review 36:Having to leave.

Review 37:Everything.

Review 38:Bathroom is awkwardly laid out.

Review 39:Size of room. Incredible view from veranda, of Petigliano walls and of river valley. Helpful proprietor.

Review 40:the rooms are clean, comfortable beds, perfect location, the hotel is in the heart of the city, having its own parking space, lovely breakfasts!

Review 41:Double bed was two twin stuck together

Review 42:No heat - room was cold and damp (bad for allergies, mould/mildew) Room was not very clean however bed sheets were clean Shower leaked severely - would leave pools of water which had to be mopped up with towels

Review 43:The location was great The restaurant by same name was very good

Review 44:Niente.

Review 45:Located in a charming house right before the gate to old town. Lovely decor in the room. No problem with parking the car nearby. Very friendly staff

Review 46:There is no Reception Desk as such. Difficult parking if you have a car and/or mobility issues as it is right in the centre where traffic is restricted and the rooms are up some steep stairs.

Review 47:The spacious clean rooms and the friendly and helpful staff.

Review 48:Their rooms (or some rooms including mine) are within a few blocks of the actual Torre Magica, so you may not stay at the Torre Magica building. That's a bit misleading on their website. I didn't know that I wasn't staying at the Torre and I'm not even sure that they have rooms within the tower.

Review 49:Great, friendly staff that feed you like your mamma (if your mamma was Italian). Awesome location. If you're looking for luxury in old town Pitigliano, this isn't your spot. Pitigliano is rough per-se and I'm not sure there are any "luxury" B&B's in old town Pitigliano.

Review 50:No a/c in our room but temperature was comfortable even though we were in the midst of August.

Review 51:Excellent location, right in front of the castle entrance. Room was big and comfortable, ecellent value for money!

Review 52:* conversation in English was very difficult. Lead to misunderstanding en wrong bill. * La Magica Torre opens to late for breakfast.

Review 53:* Well furnished beautiful big room * although english was difficult, personel was very friendly

Review 54:Only thing is the traffic - there is some noise during the night.

Review 55:Great food, very nice town in the deep Tuscan countryside. The staff at the restaurant was extremely friendly and the service excellent.

Review 56:Difficult to find. You have to check in at the Pizza Bar opposite theapartments.

Review 57:Pitigliano is a very interesting walled city and worth a stop perhapsnot for the night though. There is very little accommodation here andthe prices reflect this. La Magica was ok and served its purpose but wasvery basic. Parking was nearby in a roomy garage which was good.Overpriced in comparison to other accommodation we have stayed in inItaly. The owner was however very helpful and friendly.

Review 58:La Magica Torre is exactly in the center of Pitigliano, good and comfortable.

Review 59:the position the room the staff and the whole aerea

Review 60:Check in hours was problematic, and it was hard to find the location of the hotel.
