Review 1：Quite dated, rooms would benefit from a freshen up. Little expensive for basic accommodation.

Review 3：Meals were excellent, staff friendly and very accommodating. The room was very comfortable with easy access to pool. I will always stay at Mid City Motor Inn when in Mackay.

Review 4：It is in a quiet location close to the river, and not far from shops in Caneland Shopping Centre and the city shops and restaurants. The Manageress was helpful with information, and minding my luggage on my final morning. The weather was not warm enough to use the pool, but it looked nice, and the lawn near the pool would be a good spot for children to play.

Review 8：Excellent location. The room was well presented. The motel is very close to the main shopping precinct of Mackay. Nice pool and a good restaurant.

Review 9：My husband and I traveled with our son and his family. Vicki was wonderful and made sure that the baby had everything he could possibly need. The pool was clean and inviting. The room was comfortable and the chair and foot stool was a nice touch.

Review 10：Noticed that the bathroom needed work done to it, e.g. Bath had cracked tiles and the toilet also had incomplete work on it good thing that the toilet didn't leak. Also the pool had cracked tiles in the pool which can/could be harmful to children when swimming. car park area could be bigger for larger vehicles as the entrance to the car park is somewhat tight turning.

Review 12：The first impression was wow a microwave and a fridge but it didn't stop there our journey to the bathroom revealed the whitest bathroom I had ever seen (well could barely see it was that blinding) I also rate the television service as they knew to put my favourite movie beetle juice just as I came in which suited the Halloween atmosphere nicely as well all in all I had a tip top stay

Review 80：The carpet was a disgrace. after walking around in the morning (barefoot) I got in the shower and the water turned brown beneath my feet as the dirt was washed off the bottom of my feet. The bed was way too soft and had lumps in it.
