Reviews for Le Camere Del Ceccottino
Review 1:There is no breakfast and for the price of the room, at least coffee and tea and some breakfast should be given
Review 2:It's nice and clean, the bathroom is large and new
Review 3:Alessandro and Chiara are warm, thoughtful and welcoming hosts. The location couldn't be better. Our room was spotless and very comfortable and secure. Potential guests need to know that there is a long flight of steep stairs. Although there was a light at the top, most of the passage was not illuminated.
Review 4:The only thing I didn't like was leaving.
Review 5:Ciara and Alessandro are great hosts. They understand service and are very warm, kind and helpful. The room we had was big. The bathroom was tastefully done with marble floors and marble wainscoting on the walls. On booking.com there aren't really any pictures of the bathroom. It's a pity because it was really beautifully done. Everything is immaculately clean. You won't find anywhere to stay cleaner than this. Ciara was very helpful. She took it upon herself to resolve an issue we had with a mobile phone company. She spent an hour and drove to three different places to help us. Pitigliano is lovely and we will return and stay here next year because there is so much to see nearby.
Review 6:A stunning room in the middle of Pitigliano - just off the main square. Our host Chiara was just lovely - and she gave me a lift to where the car was parked outside the old centre in order to pick up our luggage.
Review 7:Small problem - due to lack of air conditioning, windows had to be opened at night and the street was surprisingly noisy for such a small town in the early hours eg refuse lorry, shopkeepers etc.
Review 8:Beautiful location just off a gorgeous square. The B&B owners have a nearby restaurant which was fabulous (and included a discount). Owners were really friendly and helpful. Really nicely appointed bathroom with a roll top bath.
Review 9:We didn't mind, but bear in mind that there are a lot of steps.
Review 10:Le Camere del Ceccottino was completely charming, just like the town of Pitigliano. From the moment we opened the huge, old door and gazed up the stone steps, we knew we were in for an unusual treat. They showed us two rooms, and the first one was so beautiful that I almost told her not to show me another - until she did, and it was even lovelier, with a little balcony with a view of the countryside. Guests also have access to a really lovely rooftop terrace, with a really gorgeous view, and the owners even lent us wine glasses and a bottle opener so we could enjoy a bottle of wine on the roof at sunset. It was so lovely, in fact, that my (now) fiancé picked it as the place to propose to me! We'll always remember it as the perfect setting in a really lovely, refreshingly untouristy town. The owners also own a restaurant nearby, which we also enjoyed, and there is a discount when you stay at Le Camere.
Review 11:I would love an air-conditioner, but the owners provided the fan which worked for us, too!
Review 12:The city is amazing, the location also, the room was very cosy, new, clean, tasteful. The owners were helpful in every way, very kind! Real hospitality. The best place to stay in Pitigliano and surroundings!
Review 13:No place close enough to have a good breakfast
Review 14:The room and the location
Review 15:The town is worth a visit.
Review 16:Everything
Review 17:Friendly staff. Very clean rooms and well decorated.
Review 18:Location, style, friendliness of proprietors, comfort.
Review 19:Everything- atmosphere, comfort, friendliness
Review 20:Fantastic place to stay. We had a great time here. Hosts were great and made us feel very welcome. so glad we didn't miss the ride in Alessandro's Fiat around the city to pick up bags !! great experience.
Review 21:We absolutely loved this little place. Every detail of the room and facility was top notch. It is situated in the historical area. The lady was very kind and helpful. They also have a lovely restaurant down the street. They do not have meal option but we enjoyed going and getting the fresh meats and cheese at the local butchers just across the street. We would defiantly stay here again!
Review 22:The room was very well appointed & immaculately clean. It overlookedthe square which was lovely. The owners really went out of their way toensure that we enjoyed our stay & that our travel arrangements wentaccording to plan, very much above & beyond what we would haveexpected of them. Their restaurant serves excellent local food & iswell worth a visit. Pitigliano is a wonderful town, an absolute jewel inthe area & well worth a visit
Review 23:no air-con means leaving a window open at night so you do get noise of people talking on the street below, and hear the scooters going past but that was a minor issue.
Review 24:Beautiful building and gorgeous room in an amazing historic hill-top town. Owners lovely and friendly, own the restaurant on the nearby square which whilst not as inexpensive as some, is a Slow Food restaurant and has wonderful food.
Review 25:Rooms are up a steep staircase to the (U.S.)third floor. There is noelevator and this property should be clearly marked as not handicapped-accessible.
Review 26:The room and bathroom were so clean that they literally sparkled. Bedwas comfortable. Linens and amenities high quality. Owners were veryfriendly, personable, and helpful. Pitigliano was a delightful surprisediscovery - untouched medieval hilltop town.
Review 27:Immaculate, unpretentious, incredibly comfortable, very simple hotel right in the centre of Pitigliano. It was beautiful, the owner very friendly and offered us 20% off his wonderful restaurant next door (all Italian clientele). Loved this hotel.
Review 28:Fabulous stay in a beautiful part of Tuscany. Could not recommend this hotel and town more. Had a super relaxing time with amazing food! Eat in their restaurant-its a must!
Review 29:Coffee and tea facilities would be lovely, however it's Italy after all and there is a coffee shop down the road!
Review 30:The rooms are stunning and extremely clean. They were recently renovated to a very high spec. The hostess was welcoming and very helpful. We would highly recommend! The restaurant discount that one gets with the stay was a fabulous touch. Location is perfect. Free parking easily available outside the city. Hostess can speak English which was great!
Review 31:Parking -- although even the residents of Pitigliano have that problem. The town is so compact that even if you must park outside of the old city it is not really an issue -- another opportunity for a wonderful walk of the area.
Review 32:The location was outstanding.
Review 33:Perfect location in the heart of picturesque Pitigliano. Beware there is no elevator though.
Review 34:The rooms were way too small.
Review 35:It rained. ;)
Review 36:* Beautiful room * Spotlessly clean * Assistance with travel complications above and beyond what was expected
Review 37:Hard to find at night
Review 38:Location
