Reviews for Hotel Rosalba

Review 1:Not really negative point, just couple of things you should keep in mind: 1) there's no elevator, 2) floors in the room are really cold (we stayed in december) so it's highly recommended to take slippers with you if you travelling in winter months

Review 2:Warm welcome in the hotel Free parking in front of the hotel Two steps from the escalator to the old city Incredible views from our window and terrace!! Condition can be also used as heating during cold weather

Review 3:Not a negative for us, but there is no lift. The breakfast, while good, is basic.

Review 4:The location is great; it's literally steps from the escalators that connect the lower part of Perugia with the historical center. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and large - and the shower was great!

Review 5:nothing

Review 6:excellent location, friendly staff, value for money. Only 5 minutes to the historic centre of the city and to the bus terminal so you can travel across Umbria easy. Very frendly staff. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Review 7:the Kitchen corner is at the same level with some rooms, if people speak loud at earl morning you can hear them from the room

Review 8:nice staff (they offered us the breakfast even if it was not included in the room's price);the breakfast; very clean and good location

Review 9:Nothing reKly just the sensor in the bathroom for the fan wS quite loud.

Review 10:Location was great for exploring the area. Perfect little place for a short stay, staff are great. Would stay there again.

Review 11:I didn't like the music being played in the reception area. The 'shuttle' service to Perugia airport is in reality a fairly infrequent local bus service. The taxi arranged for me, however, proved very reliable.

Review 12:The room I had was very spacious and had windows on two sides.

Review 13:Being a single older person, the location wasn't great, no restaurants close by so meals in my room became a necessity.

Review 14:The staff were very helpful. Some were a little challenged with English. Close to the escalators to Piazza Italia so it was great.

Review 15:No common sitting area, but not really a problem for us.

Review 16:We had a quad on top floor with fantastic view. Staff very helpful and friendly. Parking on-site, a miracle given its central location in old section.

Review 17:I had a basement room which did not smell very fresh, plus there was no view.

Review 18:The staff are friendly and helpful. Center of town is up a steep hill, but escalators make that pretty painless. Very modern equipment.

Review 19:A very beautiful place and warm host! We felt like home, the place looks exactely like in the photos. Very close to the city center and bus stations! Also the shuttle bus from/ to the airport is 5 minutes away walking distance! Overall: perfetto!

Review 20:There's work going on outside in the square, so no lie-ins! (not the hotel's fault, and should be over soonish)

Review 21:Spotlessly clean, nice welcome.

Review 22:Could offer a little more for the breakfast, but not a big deal.

Review 23:A small and cosy hotel. Location is great for us as it is close to the bus terminus and also the escalator leading to the old town. All the people there (Stefano, Marco and Francesco) were nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was provided at a cafe around the corner. Quite interesting.

Review 24:Great location, very easy access to the centre of Perugia. Warm welcome. Free parking. Everything you need is there, very carefully thought out, even to free coffee.

Review 25:On arrival, there was no staff; apparently sadly, one of them had an accident but they didn't arrange for someone to show up and handle check-outs for severals guests that were at the office — all packed and expecting to leave.

Review 26:5 min. walk from city center with its active night-life, but because the hotel is located near one of the exits of the communal escalator route (that goes up into the center) this "being 5 min. away from night-life" doesn't give you noise or other discomforts!

Review 27:There is a reason all of the hotel's pictures are highly filtered. The rooms are depressing in person. Especially if you are placed in a basement room with no natural light. I actually left a day early because I didn't want to spend another night in the room. Additionally, the sheets felt like plastic. I had high expectations based on the other reviews, but if you go in with realistic ideas of the place it will be fine.

Review 28:The location was great- easily accessible but not right in the centro. The room was clean, the wifi and the air conditioning were strong and the hotel staff were very friendly, but the positives end there.

Review 29:A bit noisy, because of a street under the window – some teenagers just couldn't resist speeding their mopeds during the night time.

Review 30:Very nice and comfortable little hotel. Spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. Friendly staff!

Review 31:The breakfast is served at a Caffe very close to the hotel and consists of a croissant and a coffee or cold drink. This could be enhanced somewhat albeit for the price of the hotel, one can easily walk into the centre of Perugia and find a full breakfast at one of the many caffes/restaurants.

Review 32:The hotel is in a great location with free parking near the hotel. The staff were excellent and were more than willing to help in any way needed.

Review 33:Nothing.

Review 34:Location. It was a 5 minute walk to the 2015 Jazz festival. We just wanted a comfortable place to sleep after a long day and night, nothing fancy, but with Air conditioning because of the hot July weather.

Review 35:A breakfast in a cafe near a hotel is modest, unfortunately there is no choice what to eat.

Review 36:Everything is great except a breakfast! A location is close to historical centre of a city, rooms are clean, staff is so much friendly and helpful! Totally amazing!

Review 37:We only booked this accomadation the day before so we wasn't sure what to expect. After the enormous, straining hike to the hotel ( Note this can be avoided! Take the bus, we just didn't know at the time) We were given the room at the top of the hotel, it had two levels both were clean and comfortable. The second level opened onto a balcony with the most amazing view of Perugia! Absolutely beautiful. The accomadation was in walking distance of everything we needed.

Review 38:This hotel had the kindest staff. We loved Perugia and our experience so much that we decided to stay a second night as well, and the hotel staff did everything they could to accommodate us. Just a wonderful experience and a wonderful hotel. Thank you!

Review 39:The view, the breakfast, comfortable beds, the friendly service.

Review 40:Welcoming and helpful staff. Handy for getting into town.

Review 41:We stayed in a lovely ground floor apartment just beside the hotel- great value and very homey in a fantastic location

Review 42:The staff were great and ready to help you every time you needed something.

Review 43:Breakfast in a very dark a room the size of a postage stamp. Big enough space for four people at the most!

Review 44:Great location. Really friendly staff who gave a great welcome. Tasty breakfast!

Review 45:Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff.

Review 46:Temporary building work was noisy, breakfast was limited.

Review 47:Convenient location, helpful staff.

Review 48:Great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but it's all you need. Highly recommended!

Review 49:A fridge in the room would have been helpful.

Review 50:Location was good, friendly staff!

Review 51:Nothing

Review 52:Great situation, very close to bus and in the old city which has such charm. Also very close to many restuarants

Review 53:Mediocre breakfast.

Review 54:Lovely staff, amazing view of region from top room with balcony. Spotless. We will return.

Review 55:Helpful staff

Review 56:Poor breakfast served on plastic plates.

Review 57:Location, hotel itsself and very helpful manager.

Review 59:Staff, location, room.. everything.

Review 60:Very helpful staff, excellent location - great accommodation.

Review 61:Terrific host and fantastic location at the bottom of the escalators up into wonderful Perugia.

Review 62:Setefano could not be more pleasant and accommodating

Review 63:The staff there were fantastic, willing to help and give their opinions on the best way to get to the places I wanted to go.

Review 64:bed was very uncomfortable. the room was the tiniest!

Review 65:location, staff, good value per the price
