Review 1：Just a few things not up to scratch compared to other world class hotels, of comparable price/aspiration. Indoor pool / wellness area is nice but a bit limited and showing its age a little. Service at the fondu restaurant was shocking. Shame, as food, wine and ambience were good. The 'grand' feel does veer into old fashioned/chintzy in places. Bedroom walls were very thin. Could hear conversations from next door almost word for word (thankfully nothing more). This was from a suite with optional joining doors to rooms next door which perhaps made it worse. But I really find this unacceptable. Overall it still has enough presence and grandeur to make it worth the visit, and almost worth the money, but that's mainly thanks to its setting and lack of competition.

Review 2：Overall this is a very good hotel, in s spectacular setting. Not a lot nearby (one or two attractions/shops/restaurants), but if you want a nice hotel from which to enjoy the lake it's perfect. La Terrace restaurant had nice ambience after dark and food and wine was very good. Breakfast was good. Most staff were excellent. Communal areas, eg bar/lounge are lovely. Overall it does have a very grand feel.

Review 7：Amazing experience; from Salvatore at the entrance when you first arrive who puts you right in the correct mood when he says: "Welcome Home" to Dario, the Maitre' D, who can't do enough to Claudia the front desk manager who makes sure the details are taken care of expertly. Make sure to put this on your bucket list, at the very top!!

Review 9：This is an amazing hotel. The service is exemplary from the moment you are greeted at the Milan airport to every point of contact in the hotel. The quality of the food in the restaurants is outstanding. The views of Lake Como are incomparable. A definite six star experience and one we will return to. The service of Martino in the bar as well as Dario, Rudolfo and Igor in the restaurant made our stay very memorable.

Review 19：Sometimes the test of a good hotel is what they do when you are not happy about something. We had an issue with our room on arrival that they couldn't sort out at the first attempt. Before we could say anything else they offered us another room that was superior to our first. A very good hotel with good facilities and excellent staff. The restaurant is a little very rated and not best value. All excellent otherwise.

Review 20：It is expensive - we would have loved to be able to stay longer. If this hotel offered loyalty points or discounts for returning customers, we would love it even more!

Review 21：Our favourite hotel in Lake Como - a beautifully presented hotel, family run with top notch customer service, lovely swimming pools and gardens, and delicious food. You are greeted with a smile by all of the staff. It is pricey, but you get a wonderful, relaxing vacation in return. Perfectly located next to Villa Carlotta and just across the lake from Belaggio. We will return here year after year for sure! The rooftop suite with private hot tub was just superb, although expensive.

But examples like the slow service at the beach club where we had to set up everything ourself, no water by the parkpool before the bar opens at 10:30, untidy dressing room by the gym several days in a row, no fruit in the gym, etc... It just lacks that last luxury touch that a hotel at this level should have.

Especially the lady who is the manager and the whole staff were too kind and helpful. We are definitely going back for our first year anniversary to GH Tremezzo. Beautiful so beautiful.

Review 42：Easy to navigate Tremezzo from this hotel. Access to the greenway walking plaza and a few small cafes near the hotel. There were amazing views from every spot in the hotel- the lake was very peaceful. The staff were helpful and recommended a day trip to Bellagio. Greatly enjoyed my stay, would highly recommend! It's only about an hour outside milan, so it was easy to access from the airport.

Review 49：Closet doors didn't close properly. Floor was amazingly squeaky. That made it hard to get up in the night without waking my wife. Drinks in the bar were very good and were accompanied by an excellent array of hors d'ouvres. But, the restaurant food was only mediocre and way overpriced. We only at there once, even though the view was spectacular.

Review 54：We loved this property. The rooms and bathrooms were out of this world! You cannot beat the view - it literally takes your breath away. The staff was outstanding and we truly enjoyed visiting with all of the staff. Be sure to take a dinner jacket or blazer for La Terraza - the absolutely most romantic restaurant I have ever been to! My husband didn't and it was fine but he wished that he had. Be sure to also eat at the Wine and Fondue Bar - Scala (?)

Review 55：Noisy room on lake side. No aircon.Cannot sleep. If open the window too loud, if close too hot. Only dry Sauna ,no steam room, no slippers in the Sauna. Even though very efficient and professional service but does not come from heart.
