Review 1：Pretty basic, but sometimes that's all you need. Small rooms. It can be noisy at night. Small bed with hard matrass.

Review 3：very noisy, look like you have you neighbour in you room and in the morning you can hear music from the restourant. Very pure breakfast - no boiled eggs (only omlete), tomatoes looked like a week old, lack of vegetables, etc.. You can spend the same amount of money in Riga and get much more better experience..

Review 8：The location of the hotel is very good especially if you have plans to continue your journey to Daugavpils early in the next morning. It's very clean and its staff is on a high level - always ready to help. The hotel's restaurant is not bad, prices are adequate enough but don't try grilled ribs - they're simply boiled and didn't see the grill at all.

Review 17：The front desk is very nice and helpful. They showed me the rooms etc. They also helped me to solve a double booking i made by mistake for what booking.com wanted a penalty (and did not want to help me with). The room is basic but totally fine for the price and clean. There is even a lift which is good to get bags up. The hotel is near a park and concert house and it is probably the best in the area, since i saw the other one which is built of red bricks and that looked really bad (they served breakfast in plastic bags for our friends who stayed there). Breakfast was a standard continental.

Review 18：You can hear your neighbors sneeze, or drop something, very thin walls. And the water wouldn't drain from the shower tub. Otherwise all great!

On the next morning we found out that yesterday´s leftovers are offered as breakfast for all hotel guests that we had already paid for and were not fresh...

Review 29：A great place to stay when visiting the culture centre Gors which is just across the river. Excellent fried eggs at breakfast. Would suggest Gors Restaurant (just across the river) or Mols for dining out, not the hotel restaurant, though.

Review 34：Attractive pre-WWII Kolonna Hotel sits in the pretty southern part of a latvian rural town-the Russian northern portion is grotesque Soviet-next to the river with a verdant view over the park and bridge from the rotunda or outside terrace. Superior kitchen, with only a few misses, offering innovative latgallian dishes amongst others. Draught latvian beer. Substantial real latvian breakfast. Diligent staff. Spartan clean studio with windows that open, albeit being at the crossroads traffic can be heard during the day into evening. Best location in town, neat spot to access eastern Latvia. Latvian and English spoken.

Review 98：1. Не совсем удобно с парковкой - "своя" совсем крохотная, машин на 6-7. Мы оставляли на "парковке-пустыре" на другой стороне улицы, хотя получилось перед окнами 2. В номерах, выходящих на улицу - довольно шумно, так как фактически - это довольно оживленный перекресток, еще и со светофором, на котором громко стартуют автобусы, грузовики и мотоциклы. 3. Совершенно дурацкий душ - в ванной комнате это просто душевая головка закрепленная на стене и сток в полу, все задергивается занавеской. С учетом небольшого напора воды помыться и помыть детей не так и просто. 4. Маленькое неудобство - WiFi "без пароля" , но с паролем, который надо вводить каждые минут 20 на страничке авторизации. 5. Нет кондиционера, что в жару может быть важно, а также не позволяет закрыть наглухо окна , чтобы избавиться от шума 6. В номере нет бара и соответственно, не получилось им воспользоваться как холодильником.

Review 99：1. Очень понравилось отношение персонала отеля. Подготовили к приезду детей горшок и рисунки-раскраски, мелочи а приятно. Когда дети извазюкали на завтраке все в радиусе 2-х метров - дружелюбно убрали и т.д. Все необходимые продукты - убрали в холодильник и морозильник, причем "в люобе время". Все говорят по русски. 2. Есть WiFi (хотя надо авторизоваться по паролю, который дают на reception). 3. Нормальный завтрак 4. большой удобный номер (брали семейный) 5. лифт (что немаловажно после некоторых небольших европейских гостиниц, в которых на второй-третий этаж надо тащить чемоданы по лестнице) 6. Хорошая информационная поддержка, удобный буклет по гостинице и информация по городу.

Review 100：The hotel was situated very central in the town with parking in the yard. The staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were good as well as cleaning. Beds were too hard though and taking a morningshower on the third floor was a cold-fresh experience. But had I given more time, the warm water had turned up within 30 min perhaps. Good hotel anyhow. If needed again, I will return to this one.

Review 112：The hotel seems recently renovated as everything looked freshly painted.When I was there the main street through town was nicely renovated tooso it may be part of a big overhaul partly financed by the eu.Staff was OK but this was the first hotel ever that charged me for storing my bicycle overnight. I have cycled all over Europe and have stayed in hundreds of different hotels but they never ever charged for bicycle parking. It was a lousy 1 Lat (LVL) but still..... The room was nice and clean and sort of spacious. The TV was OK with some foreign channels. (CNN, CBS, DW). Free WiFi internet worked well in my room. There is a restaurant on ground floor, which I did not use, with outside seating next to the river. The breakfast buffet was nice with a good selection of tasty food. It probably helps that there is a good chef in the kitchen of the restaurant. The town had nothing of interest as far as I could see on a short walk

Review 113：Though currently reconstruction works are going on around the hotel, I could imagine how nice will be the view from the hotel window in the nearest future. Enough of parking place near the hotel (could be better when under hard cover).

Will be even nicer when current improvement works in the town & new concert hall & visitor centre are finished. Review 115：I’m very surprised why this hotel got so many positive opinion. Everything is so so in that hotel. Staff, food all is average. We got room with back stairs entrance – quite noisy (its Rezekne so should be so). Need to wait 15 minutes for warm water … Very basic buffet breakfast…. Very poor selection. Check out took 1h … But its the only choice in that city… in fact there is no other good option.
