Review 1：Not many motels provide de-caf coffee but this one did, so that was appreciated. Quality of the shampoo was good and it was great to have tissues provided.

Review 4：The hotel was functional and comfortable. Despite being on a busy road, the rooms at the rear of the interior courtyard were quiet. Everything needed was provided. One night bookings available at a reasonable price; unusual for the Hunter Valley.

Review 5：During the early evening (around 6.20pm) on Tuesday 29/09/2015, there was an electrical power "blackout" across the entire site including all lighting and signage in the surrounding streets. This power outage lasted for some 100 minutes and during this time I was very surprised and disappointed that the management team made no apparent effort to advise any of the many unit occupants of safety and evacuation procedures (i .e. assembly points and warden activities should that be required.) I was also surprised that there was no standby or "back up" power generator to reinstate all services and to enable the recovery of at least the mandated emergency exit lighting signs. The motel was in complete darkness for the duration of this event and perhaps this customer service and risk management aspect could be reviewed?

Review 7：The aircon in our room did not stay on overnight and was stuffy in the room so really did need it! Curtains not great at keeping the sun out in the early morning!

Review 10：An excellent property - well equipped room had a 2 person sofa lounge and a wooden table and chairs for eating meals. Tea making has biscuits. Breakfast include was more than adequate. Quiet room despite Highway location - two entrances to make it easier to travel in your preferred direction.

Review 26：One thing annoyed me. My partner and myself were laying in bed when there was a knock on the door and a lady yelled out housekeeping. I quickly jumped out of bed and told her we were here. But what realt pissed me off was the lady at the front when I told her what happened she turned around and said you should have had the do not disturb sign out. As far as I'm concerned front staff and housekeeping should have spoken with each other then we would not have been rude awoken. This spoilt our stay as my job keeps me away from home for months so this was a very special night but was ruined by your staff not talking to each other. Also ordered a quick meal which turned out warm/cold not happy

Review 29：We needed to visit the Maitland Private Hospital and this was a reasonably priced place to stay. The Motel is old but well kept and clean. Staff were very pleasant.

Review 30：Had brought my swimmers, but the pool was filled in! Also, I was charged prior to actual check out even though we had confirmed late check out and that we would pay for accomodation and expenses as we were travelling as a large group.

Review 31：Convenient location to restaurant and clubs within walking distance. Staff were friendly, however they need more staff - the person at reception was also serving at the bar, and for a Friday and Saturday night it gets quite busy, but she was always friendly and did the best she could.
