Review 1：The place needs refurbishment.

Review 2：Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Great location, near to town especially the famous Payang market. Beautiful surroundings, nice and tasty spread of breakfast

Review 3：Soundproofing of the rooms needs to be done. Noisy neighbours and loud visitors can be clearly heard through the walls and doors.

Review 4：The buffet was good, both breakfast and dinner. Like that it's extremely close to the beach and a mamak-like eatery that opens till late at night where we can hear the sound of the ocean.

Review 7：The hotel management needs to seriously consider on upgrading and refurbishing the rooms to give it the classy ambience. The rates charged is quite high and does not match its old condition. The air conditiong along the corridor was always off and had a certain kind of unpleasant smell.

Review 8：If you are looking for a hotel with a beach located in the town centre, Hotel Primula would be the right choice.

Review 9：Its after 2pm and we have to wait until other people check out and wait for cleaning some more. There are many people waiting at the lobby to check in at that time so all seats at the lobby are taken. The hotel should not allow late checkout if its fully booked.

It will be good if hotel would consider refurbishment as this would generate more satisfied guest.I believe hotel is known for their reputation to be one of the oldest hotel in KT hence, it is about time for hotel to consider an upgrade & I'm sure all current & future guests awaits that moment.

Review 16：The hotel is not in tip top condition. We had a blackout which seemed quite natural to the staff. I had to sit in total darkness for 10 minutes before the problem was fixed. The wifi is very weak and that is very irritating for a self-proclaimed 4* hotel. The staff is not proactive. There did not seem to be enough staff to clean up the tables during breakfast. Those that were there didn't clean up our tables until requested. The breakfast is the worst! The menu is very disappointing! But what shocked us was the baby cockroaches that came out from the bread toaster! There were so many of them crawling around the breakfast bar near the toaster. I was so looking forward to the stay in Primula but all these sadly spoilt my trip. I dont think I will come back.

Review 18：because of the food..the breakfast was until 10.30am but at 9am no food!they didn't top-up or refill the F&B. So sad because we pay for it!and the gym, it was closed and locked!

Review 20：It's old. Lots of small ants in the room even on the beds. Did not provide any toothbrush. The room rate is too high for such a hotel. And on our first night there, a band was singing so loud near the pool till 1am. None of us could get any sleep until 2am. I made a complain to the reception but they said they couldn't do anything about it. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there.

Review 24：The hotel is poorly maintain. My bathtub for instance. A big crack and the hotel management only sealed it. The furniture and fitting looks old too.

Review 26：Check-in was slow and they spoke loudly in front of customer which I don't like. Key provided only one where I had asked for another. The acoustic of the room is bad, we can hear people talking next door and at corridor. The shower area is too small and no bathtub provided. Don't have breakfast at Anjung Bistro, the services are not good as at Main Restaurant. The swimming pool are full with kids during school holiday, looks like there are outsider enjoying the pool as well. The beach are gone, there are adding more sand towards the seaside, not natural anymore. Please settle the bill early and check out later because it was hectic during 12 noon.

Review 59：I guess the hotel needs renovation - it looks quite old and the inside ambience remain the same from my last visit in 8/9 years ago. The rooms appear ugly and not well maintained. You could see "black scars" on the sink, the wall in the toilet and water dripping from the toilet bowl. The carpet felt soggy and the room smelled "old enough". No shaver?

Review 61：- There were mosquitoes and ants sitting on the fruits at the breakfast spread. - During our 1st day here, tea & coffee were only served to the foreign tourists. We were not asked by staff whether we cared for tea or coffee (we were however asked on the 2nd day). - The bathtub in my room was stained and cracked, I can actually feel as if it was going to give way while showering in it. - Many broken beach chairs at the beach and swimming pool area. Proper beach umbrellas/shades could have been provided at the beach.
