Review 1：Shower drainage was clogged up on first night and expelled black gunk onto the shower floor. Cockroach on sheets the first night. Do not get Room 8 - looks out onto rubbish heap at back of hotel and windows cannot be closed.

Review 4：This was best place I've stayed in Sri lanka! Everything worked efficiently! Everything clean, new & secure locks for example! Justperfect! Staff were helpful& kind too!
Review 5：Great people: The owner as well as the staff were absolutely friendly,giving and extremely supportive in every kind of way.PERFECT LOCATION: You can reach everything within a view minutes by bicycle (which you can rent at the hotel) or within a nice walk. GORGEOUS ARCHITECTURE: The hotel itself has a gorgeous and very unique architecture, especially the restaurant, which I'm sure everyone will appreciate. SWIMMING IN THE NEARBY "NUWARA WEWA" LAKE: Please be aware that besides of the temples and cultural sights there's a nearby lake called Nuwara Wewa, reachable in only 10minutes by walk. You can get in through the "Nuwarawewa Lakeside Hotel" and leave your staff there (the staff there is very cooperative) while you enjoy the cool and refreshing water. FOOD HEAVEN The hotel offers authentic and absolute delicious Sri Lankan dishes as well as Western meals which they prepare fresh and with high quality ingredients (I know it as I was allowed to watch the head chef at work :-). SILANCE & ABSOLUTE SAFETY: During my travels I enjoy peaceful short term homes which allow me to work effectively and balance myself through Yoga & Meditation. This place together with its people matched perfectly with my needs. THX FOR EVERYTHING !!!
