Review 1：The location is so so. In an area where there are so many beautiful spots this one rates pretty low and there is nothing nearby. The staff is friendly but hard to locate. The breakfast was overpriced for what they offered.

Review 5：Although on the outskirts of Sneek, you felt as if you were well in the country side. Situated on a canal. In the village on the other side of the canal (push the button to close the bridge if left open by boaters) is a café-billiard which serves very reasonably priced, simple but very tasty meals with a small terrace along another canal. Very spacious and very well equipped one bedroom apartment. Bed sheets and towels are included in the price

Review 6：The approach to the property is through a light industrial/commercial area. We had an appartment for 5 with 3 beds and a sofa bed. The beds were very comfortable but neither my husband nor myself found the sofa bed comfortable and we really regretted not having put two of the children in it. We could hear the people above walking around.

Review 7：The vakantieborderij has direct access to the water which is a great way to explore Friesland. The building and appartments have been very tastefully renovated and fitted out. There is a garden with a small playground and a pet rabbit which was a big hit with our children. The staff were very friendly and helpful and volunteered a lot of information about both Sneek and the area generally. They also recommended a child-friendly restaurant for our evening meal which turned out to be really good. There is loads of parking and storage space for bikes/trailers etc. The breakfast was excellent.

Review 15：The family that runs the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Very clean, very quiet. You can rent a boat and travel around the canals.

Review 16：Fold out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable even for the children. It is not practical as a bed. I would not return or recommend anyone sleeps on it. Some sofa beds are very comfortable but that one is not. Breakfast was fine but the quantity and range if food was limited. Increase the price a little and add more food. Most international travellers don't normally eat European style food.

Review 18：The rooms are very large and very clean, modern facility converted from old horse stables. Very large bathroom. Excellent staff - family business. Associated with small boat marina. A great base for touring the region each day.

Review 22：A beautiful luxurious family run self catering apartment right next to acanal.The owners were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Wewere travelling on a motorbike so did not make use of the well equippedkitchen area of the apartment. Sneek is a lovely town and though wewalked there in the evening for something to eat, it may be too far towalk for some.The owners do provide meals at the weekend but we arrivedon Tuesday so had to go out for our evening meal.
