Review 1：No hot water running shower, had to request boiling water from the kitchen to take a bath(Guess this is common in this area, I was told)

Review 3：The Booking.com 'description' of our 'Superior Chalet'was way off the mark, and just wrong in several respects. You can'ttruly see the lake and cannot reach it even on foot. Furniture andfurnishings basic to say the least. It's a long way from the sightsof Anuradhapura, even with bicycles. Public transport might work, butour car was invaluable.

Review 4：It was cheap. It's quite cheerful. The man in charge (of everything)was helpful and friendly, despite the overall management being non-existent. Local food was ok. The sun shone. It's good value formoney for most foreigners if that's important. But for locals, itwill be quite costly. It was their first season. With effort they couldmake it more comfortable and attractive.

Review 5：Room lights were very poor .low light led bulbs there. Please bring extra emergency lights .toilets vere very poor.you may feel like you are in public toilets in bus stop . No tooth brushes or toothpaste there. Low quality doors and windows . Overall law quality workmanship can present. If you expect at least clean and tidy lodge don't stay there. If you can't find any place in Anuradhapura then go and stay there .one thing I must tell the food is excellent .

Review 7：A bit far from the city and really hard to find. The key to my room didn't fit- took more than half an hour to open it. The lights in the room are very dim- you can't read a book at night in the room.

Review 11：Ground staff is ok but the management is very poor. tried to over charge us for meals. Never showed up when we requested to talk with him. Said he was sleeping in the middle of the day. There is no easy access to the lake. Same menu in both days for breakfast. only 3 people in the staff to do everything while the manager is sleeping.

Review 13：- Our room floor looked like it was incomplete, it was just concrete. Tiles would have completed the room nicely. - Wifi is only in the main dining area.

Review 14：- Alot of green around the hotel. - There is a horse on the hotel land - Staff is really nice. - Please look after the dogs near the back of the hotel (towards lake area), the mum had 3 puppies! Please feed them.

Review 21：The hostile and irritated behaviour of the hotel manager, no free wifi, no pressure of water in the shower, no toiletries etc etc. AND they charged us a 10% service charge over and above the amount that we booked at in Booking.com which was not informed earlier despite asking specifically if there was any addl charge(s).

Review 23：Ajith the owner is taking care of you 100%. He has very good recomendations and tips fot the visits of the sites. He is very active and behind all the details. You can trust him. Very good relation quality/price, super food and breakfast. Very quiet place, good to rest.

Review 24：The hotel was a little difficult to find as there is more than 1 kandy road in the area. No amenities close by eg supermarket, eateries. At least 10 mins drive away. Room furnishings were very very sparse but comfortable and clean. There is no hot water in standard room.

Review 25：Aircon was super cold and wifi was great. Staff and manager were very helpful and service orientated. Bathrooms were clean and in good condition. Grounds were well maintained and attracts wild bird life.

Review 27：We had 2 nights at lasure lake resort & I wish we could had three. The rooms were realy lovely & very spacious. We hada front ground with gorgeous views over the grounds & the lake & peacocks and birds.tbirds.this place is great & superb to watch & worshipto tha Anuradhapura pooja boomi. The foods on offer was fresh with a huge choice of both Srilanka & western dishess.hss.how ever it did provide an opportunity to each with the staff members or owner. Mr Asanka is owner he also gave good & great attention to us.when we reached to Anuradhapura town at midnight. Asanka came & picked up us.say again millions thanks Mr Asanka. staff members also very friendly and most helpful. This chalate was good base from watch which explore Srimahaboodhi & Ruwanwelisaya. With out doubt thought this chalets best features. Its location on the lake.wwhat a place to see wildlife in their nature habits.. GOOD LUCK. ..

Review 28：Resort needs more organised management. Rooms could be improved by providing a cloth rack, full length mirror, hair drier, tea/coffee facilities (electric kettle).

Review 30：Spanking new, very nice cottages, extremely comfortable beds and great service. Real value for money. A great place to stay if you are on a limited budget. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Review 31：They kept staring at us, while eating or even when going up the stairs! Service was really slow and even though we we're the only two people there, they managed to get the order wrong! The worst thing I think is the cleanliness of the room, which is really basic and also, if it rains you will get a free concert including creeks and all other sorts of animals and insects. That together with the not so lovely room made it very hard for us to catch any sleep at all. Last thing, their English was quite poor.
