Reviews for Relais Villa Belpoggio

Review 1:Nothing bad to say!

Review 2:Immaculate building and grounds, utterly stunning views in all directions. The ladies running the hotel were all so warm, welcoming and unfailingly helpful at all times, and at no point did we feel encroached upon as is sometimes the case at other hotels. What makes this hotel special is the hospitality, views and the sympathetic way the building has been restored. Our room 'Abate' was serene and luxurious with fabulous views and an original fresco wall and timber ceiling and is the only room on a floor between 2 floors so plenty of privacy. From what we saw all rooms will have beautiful views. The views from the pool side are like something from a film we couldn't stop taking pictures! Recommend the restaurant as the chef was excellent and adventurous with his dishes. However we would also recommend venturing into Loro Ciufenna to Il Torre as it was equally excellent and we were eating amongst plenty of locals which we like! Overall we were delighted with our stay and would like to thank our hosts one last time for all your wonderful hospitality I hope I get this spelling right Agnesa, Maria and Paola thank you so much!

Review 3:Gorgeous view, surrounded by olive groves. Outstanding rooms and extremely positive and helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast and gourmet four-course dinner.

Review 4:Considering the high quality on most things, kitchenware, cups etc could be with a Tuscan touch rätter than Ikea... Restaurant Staff a bit untrained

Review 5:The house is of exceptionell quality as well as the cleaning. Views lovely.

Review 6:Room was musty and dark, smelt of concrete and needed to be properly aired.

Review 14:Everything

Review 15:Breakfast: they do Not refill the Buffet so if you come at 10:00 almost nothing is left over.

Review 16:Very nice and friendly staff, very clean rooms in traditional Tuscan style, very quiet area. I can definitely recommand this place

Review 17:I liked everything

Review 18:Love the character of the place. It's an amazing villa surrounded by the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. A great place for a holiday and within easy reach of Arezzo and other Chianti towns and villages. From the friendly staff serving wonderful breakfasts we could not fault it in any way. The restaurant recommendations were spot on where we had outstanding Tuscan food.

Review 19:Very beyond every life. It is not an hotel, but a B&B in the middle of nowhere. It should mention the isolated location. Every evening at 9pm you are alone in the place. The so called restaurant evenings are too amateuristic to call it a restaurant. Shame of money and time for everything. We will never go back! I do not understand all the positive recommandations!

Review 20:Beautiful restaurated old building Spacey rooms Kind, but onprofessional staff

Review 21:We spent five days in Villa Belpoggio in the beginning of August and we loved it. We were a couple with two boys (10 and 13 years old) and my mother and we stayed in two confortable and very tidy rooms. The couple room (Junior suite) has a lot of space, very comfortable king bed, a clean bathroom and a living room with a bed to our young boy. The other room (Arco) was also very pleasant and comfortable with two single beds and shower/bath tub. The villa is located atop a hill with a beautiful view of the valley (small cities and farms). The silence is relaxing! Each day we travelled to some places around Loro Ciufenna (Arezzo, Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano) and the hotel location is good for a day-trip. But the best part is the staff. We felt like at home and Paola, Maria, Agnese and Johnny were so kind and friendly! The breakfast is really special with fruits, jams, cakes, cheese, prosciutto... Delicious! Our two boys really appreciated the food!!! I really recommend this hotel to everyone and for sure would return in a future trip to Tuscany. It is really worthwhile!!!

Review 22:Beds a little hard.

Review 23:Staff were absolutely delightful - very friendly and welcoming and helpful - you felt like an honoured member of their family. The location was stunning - great views over surrounding Tuscan countryside. Very intimate and relaxing - low key but elegant. Very convenient for exploring the region and great cycling country (mountain bikes available to borrow for free). Nice touch that despite not having a formal restaurant, they offered light snacks at lunchtime - fresh local hams/cheeses/simple pasta dishes. Fruit and salads from their garden tasted delicious.

Review 24:Amazing place Amazing staff just the best vacation a man can ask
